He was such a miserable bastard we left him in a McDonalds outside the park on Day 2. I wonder how much a meal at the Cinderella restaurant would cost? All the food at the park is stupidly expensive like €12 for fries.

€90 each for an adult, it went up recently. Someone said it was less but that’s breakfast with less characters.

Apparently it’s a Loungefly spirit Jersey and it’s supposed to be a melting ice cream bar. Each park has a slightly different design. The BACK should be the front IMO.

I watched his story of them both waiting around for a ride or something, after he says about his favourite ride... and he's just sooo awkward? He genuinely doesn't seem to have anything to say, he's just filming for the sake of it and Carrie is basically silent. It gives off terrible vibes. It's almost like watching two colleagues with nothing in common on a work trip trying to fill the silence in the airport lounge. So much for "constantly talking." As others have said there is literally nothing likeable or fanciable about this man, I cannot fathom why she is with him. Not only is he boring, he just seems aggressively grim, his mannerisms, sense of humour, dress sense... All grim. It's not even looks it's just the way he is all the time. If she doesn't leave now she is in for a lifetime of trying to swallow the ick she clearly has in spades for this man.

Remember when he first came into the picture and we were all so positive about him and hopeful that he would be a great choice for carrie. God how wrong were we?!
 
I just find it so strange that throughout this whole relationship (since they started dating in May?...I dunno...I lose track) they constantly harp on about not being able to spend enough time with one another because of their crazy schedules.
Anyway, presumably this disney holiday is a rare moment in their busy lives that they're able to share with eachother... and yet. AND YET. They're choosing to share it with the whole world. Cameras/phones constantly in their hands. Filming. Always on. For an audience. Mouths wide open and happy smiling for another photo infront of something Disney related. Quick edit and ready to post onto instagram. And repeat.

They can’t ever hold hands and just stroll because they always have a pop socket in one hand and using the other hand to type or scroll here.
It’s so sad.
For two people newly in love.
They’re completely disconnected.

No but I really can't imagine what they talk about. Or that they have good talks? For one because, like you said, they have only mumbled awkward small talk at each other in their stories so far. And then he also seems so deeply uninteresting and unfunny in all of his stories. All of his jokes so far have amounted to "haha SEX hehe" or "look I'm wearing a silly hat". If what he's shown so far is all he can muster in terms of commentary about their trip, how much more riveting could their conversations be? It just reminds me of how he admitted he doesn't read. That tracks. His Facebook rants also made him sound so simple and ignorant. Not that Carrie is such an intellectual, but I can't imagine that she's at all mentally stimulated by him.

That's the kind of thing that makes him the most off putting, in my opinion. Looks don't actually matter so much, the way someone carries themselves, or talks, or their sense of humour, is what makes them attractive. Or a good partner, for that matter. Joel doesn't seem to be charming in any sense though. Unless Carrie happens to be really drawn in by nosewiping, gurning and breath sucking?

But...but....they TALK. Unlike other couples. It's a love that others so rarely find. How can you not see that? Soulmates, plunged into happiness!!!
 
I assume Joel is too dull to care as long as Carrie is his _ beautiful fiancée _ but has none of his friends ever messaged him to tell him that in their shared instagram stories she looks bored and annoyed by him? You can tell in today's story by her eye rolls and sighing, her body language speaks volume. Who acts like this on holiday. I can only imagine she lets him post it online as a silent cry for help?

It’s the most beautiful park by far. It has the best castle, too. Is it missing some things that WDW has? Sure. It’s also more expensive on a day-bu-day basis. But it’s also overall a far less obnoxious place, and when you get sick of it, you can hop on a train to Paris and do other things, and if you live in Europe it’s easier to to there for 2 days than it is to Florida for two weeks.

I would never have thought it possible for someone to make DLP look so drab and boring, but somehow Carrie and Joel have done it. If I hadn’t already been and already know I love the parks there, their content would make me never want to go. I hope Disney never employ them.

I agree - I love DLP and it’s definitely the best of the Magic Kingdom parks in terms of rides and aesthetics but regardless of the weather they’re making it look awful

It’s because Carrie is spoilt and it used to freebies in America for who knows why because she’s never influenced me to buy anything
 
It's absolutely freezing in Paris today, it was already painful just popping out 15 min to pick up some lunch. I have no idea why they're wandering around DLP without gloves on and appropriate coats.

I don't mind DLP, but this isn't the most comfortable time to go there... Especially for more than one day and given the cost of everything.

She's stated she HATED DLP for a long time. I bet this is just proving her point of not being able to go to DLP because of "Bad experiences with BF's." Bc DLP in the middle of January doesn't sound that appealing. She's def hating life rn.

Maybe they reserved this time off thinking they could go to Orlando, but each of them looked at each other and said "I aint paying for that" and the Freebie Gods were not smiling upon them that day, so they had to settle for Paris
