I didn't think she was holding the door open because she had her hands full of costume - when she appears she's got her hands full of dress and two coathangers. Plus the handle was on the outside (as in, the handle was on Tom's side of the door to push it inwards). Tbh I assumed he was holding it open with his foot!

She says we only see one percent of her life online. That we shouldn’t base opinions off that tiny percentage, as she is only showing us a curated version. Genuine question: why does she show the bratty bits? We can only conclude that if those are the ‘best’ or ‘interesting’ bits why does she choose to show them? Critical I know and tuned on her every action, but the reaction on this page alone and Twitter (and if she didn’t delete comments on insta and YT) shows a normal reaction to frankly, bizarre choices.

Omg so kind of unrated but I’ve just realised this is why she hates Twitter, everywhere else she is in control of the comments/ replies, but not Twitter 🫠

You can literally see her hand on the door plus it opens into her dressing room which she is entering
 
A friend of mine is in the audition process for the Wizard of Oz at the Palladium this summer.. made me wonder if Joel could be involved with it when his Hamilton contract ends, since he was hinting in his live that he’s got something coming. I’ve got absolutely no intelligence to suggest this is a thing btw, just a random shower thought. Not that I want to think about Shrek in the shower!

I’ll keep my ear to the ground!

Won’t they use the cast from the original regional version of this in Leicester?
The only role I could see Joel is is Lion which would be awks as Carrie’s friend Gio Spano is currently playing him.
Also how would C feel about her beloved soul mate working for the enemy ALW who owns the rights to this version.
Come to think of it wonder what she thinks of her bezzie mate Gio in it?
Gio and Georgina were among the Cinderella cast who didn’t publicly diss Andy on SM

I mentioned Spongebob further up and was told that it was touring before London transfer and as he’s in Hamilton it wouldn’t be possible for him to be in it.
But it seems from your post tour/regionals might recast for London?
 
OK but if these backstage Tom Scanlon videos are staged, it's not super clear. Lots of people think they're genuine so it's very open to interpretation and that's not what they should be going for if it's a running gag.

Why would Carrie want herself to look like a twit and a two faced witch.
Why do her colleagues want to look like participants in workplace bullying.

None of them look great here.

Plus, Carrie actively participating in videos for TikTok which she deleted herself because she can't control the narrative/comments? Mmmmm.

Tbh, I've been thinking... @awkwardjellyfish I don't believe you're Scott. I'm just hoping you're actually Tom Scanlon. It'd make my year. And I'm getting married this year (we've been together 9 years, so it's the real deal. Unlike no hope Fletcher and Mr Montag-ewwwwww)

It’s difficult to say really, it’s not always the case but you’re probably right. I did a tour a few years back but then missed out on the London transfer (which I was fuming about ngl) - it wasn’t a short run like Wizard of Oz looks to be though in fairness, so perhaps a recast was more justified.

There are certainly some auditions underway for WOO, though it wouldn’t surprise me at all if a good majority of the principal cast is already in place from the Leicester production as you pointed out. I certainly hope Georgina has this one in the bag anyway, she deserves it!

Re the ALW shitstorm, while most of the Cinderella cast agreed with Carrie (rightly so on this one), I know that they didn’t dare speak out about it publicly as they didn’t have as strong a CV as her and Summer Strallen, and feared repercussions. In other words, they used their brains and not their egos. Seems to have worked in their favour so far!

Smart move.
Ego always seems to win in her case.
It’ll be interesting to see if Joel would put an ALW Musical over Carrie. Would be awkward. He has worked for him before on School of Rock so not beyond the realms of possibility that he could have a slight advantage at audition.
He’s alluded though that he has something in the bag. If the audition process is ongoing would he know yet?
