I think the only time she's ever talked about an audition was Les Mis? As far as I'm aware anyway.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she is having money/work anxiety. She’s probably still got more income than a lot of people right now (me included, thanks to my tourism career), but she’s also got a flat and now a house with major renovations to pay for and no solid job.
That’s possibly the reason for her mentioning her declining numbers, because less views/followers means less income. Her book sales might be lacking as well, which would be stressful for her.
It’s pretty much the definition of first world problems, but that doesn’t make it any less valid for her to be down and anxious about. I agree that vague booking is annoying, but she’s still a person with feelings who might be going through a rough patch
I don’t think she has chosen to go in to children’s fiction- I think she has said she was approached to do it. Ballet Shoes is a classic novel which was first published in the 1930s and Carrie has written an updated reimagining of it. It is probably targeted at children who are too young to consider buying a book for themselves so the purchasers will be their mothers or even grandmothers who might know who Carrie is.
To be honest I hope it is money that she is worried about as opposed to do with her relationship or her health (those are two other things that could be scary to deal with). Money issues can always be dealt with.
Good point well made. Yes basically let’s hope this is an overreaction due to stress and nothing too bad.Ι believe the opposite, money issues depending how severe they are can make you homeless etc
Partners come and go. Overall,i hope she is just having a bit of hard times with no serious issues
I believe that she said that she had always auditioned for her roles, and the only time she's ever been asked to come in would be Fantine. I personally believe her. It seems that when she originally got into Les Mis, she established herself as a core West End actor. The hiring committees always seem to favor the same reliable actors over and over again.I think the only time she's ever talked about an audition was Les Mis? As far as I'm aware anyway.
I do think her Q&A yesterday seemed much less passive aggressive than previous ones, maybe she's realised that her attitude is losing her followers and thus revenue.
Maybe the truth hurts, she she's lost followers, works iffy atm, she's become very unlikeable, big headed, argues and attacks her followers, full of her own self importance, can't take any sort of feed back or criticism etc etc. this has been going on for a long time now, so other people are going to have also picked up on it!
I don’t think this is true as she has mainly been in the same shows over and over again. I don’t think she is classed as a ‘must have’ for producers or casting directors, unless it was Heathers and for that it was based on her following.I believe that she said that she had always auditioned for her roles, and the only time she's ever been asked to come in would be Fantine. Ouch, just looked on social blade. She's loosing more followers than she is gaining and is now officially below 500k.Sorry to go on about her Twitter numbers but another 300 have gone in just a couple of days.
So Oli is in Warrington visiting his family
