The dress is nice but it looks tit on her because she keeps insisting on choosing colours that don’t suit her at all. Either the awful 1970s brown and oraShe looks best in light or pastel colours. But as with the hideous hair, she seems to be on a mission to make herself look the worst she possibly can these days.

I think she’s a summer season but she dresses as an autumn. It’s a shame because she used to look so lovely but now everything just looks wrong on her.

Carrie is a Spring or Summer and keeps insisting she’s an Autumn to be unique as Autumn is rarer

I have a theory re. Carrie's orange hair. I think deep down she knows that it doesn't suit her. But she's refusing to back down because it was one of the many questionable decisions she made following #TheBreakup, the biggest one of which is of course, the speed of her relationship with Joel. I'm almost certain that at the time, the Fletcher clan absolutely expressed their concerns to Carrie about Joel and his intense behaviours. Imo, this made Carrie even more determined to prove everyone wrong and 'show them' that she hadn't made any mistakes in allowing the relationship to speed along as rapidly as it did. We all know Carrie never admits to being in the wrong.

The orange hair was another knee-jerk reaction to Oliver leaving that she made around the same time Joel came into the picture. I think the reason she's kept it up though is because she doesn't want to be seen to be questioning or regreting her past decisions from that post-breakup time. I don't think she can bear the thought that if she got that wrong, she was wrong about other, much more permanent decisions she made.

FFS even BBC Breakfast newsreaders were invited to the Wicked premiere.

I think the only zelebs that avoided being rounded up and herded to it must have been whoever has been flown to Australia to be on I'm a Celeb.

Not surprised that Crabbie got a ticket, there's been such a procession of has-beens who went all over Instagram all day long. The film distributors seem absolutely desperate to publicise the thing to bits and buy favourable reviews. From what I've heard it's cost an absolute fortune to make but the public are only luke warm to it, on account of it being 2h40 long, only half the story (part two comes out this time next year), a general unexcitement for the two leads, and Gladiator II and Paddington both being in cinemas at the same time.

@RudeDog I totally agree. I think it’s very telling that there was barely any content posted with Tom, gi, Carrie and Zuko. Infact, was there any? On previous trips, (during joelmas, for example) there was lots of footage of Tom and Gi with Scott, plus family photos. Was there any group shot of both Fletcher and Montagues?
Remember when they tried to say how much the boys loved “Uncle Joel” when they’d barely met him? One photo of him dragging the boys along, clinging onto his ankles, comes to mind. Where was the footage of them wanting to go lots with him on holiday? It’s not like the fetchers don’t post their kids on socials!
My kids love my sisters husband. They met when my kids were little, and he’s always been great with them. He didn’t try and push the inches title, it just happened naturally over the next few years. But then my BIL isnt zuko…

I can imagine Tom speaking up and saying how he felt, but Carrie stamping her doc martens

During her Wicked “review”, she talks about the sheet music thing. She said she convinced her music teacher to put on wicked, and she said “no good deed”. The says she sung in from of teachers, parents and peers. Who the duck refers to their school friends as “peers” at 10 years old?? Very odd. Screams of “I always knew I was better than them. They weren’t my friends, they were my peers”

I get not everyone has a gods time at school, I didn’t love it. I get not everyone starts in touch with people from time. However, does she have any friends from when she a child, aside from people she was once in a show with and note posts a photo of then together when they’re nominated for an Oscar, for example (cough… Austin Butler) With social media, is easy to reconnect to people from school. I still see 2 school friends regularly. There’s lots I’ll randomly chat to, or I bump into them, I chat with. I can imagine Carrie pretending not to recognise them, and say “do you want an autograph?” if one approached her?
We know Joel is complete opposite, 431 friends from his youth (although he barely speaks to any now, let alone see them. He’s fake “Hi gorgeous!” When he does bump into them, then saunters off.
---
Also, was this on the Bingo card? The current way around Epcot? Featuring Joel’s arse (At least Debbie pity chatted. I wonder if Tom and Gi went the opposite way?!)

Sorry to divert back to this but I truly can’t believe this is Friday and Saturday night availability in my city! I go see a lot of shows at this theatre and I’ve never seen it like this!

Tempted to get tickets because I like Calamity Jane and I like judging Carrie, plus it’s here on my birthday. But spending my birthday watching Crabbie? Ugh

That looks the same as Bristol and I assume the grey dots with a spare row in front or behind are wheelchair accessible seats so they aren't sold but you can only buy they if you are registered disabled via ATG.

Back to her orange hair, she is obviously having it done every 6 six weeks, any decent hairdresser would tell you to give curly hair a rest as I have the same type of hair. Her hair is going to be so damaged, there is nothing wrong with her natural colour so why the hell dye it orange 🙄

There’s an influencer called Ellie Mae Grady, who also went to the premier. In the same dress. Can’t find any Getty images, but even in a travel lodge bathroom, it looks better. Nothing to do with her age it build. It just suits her more, and looks less like Mabel stuck Pom poms on mummas dress

It looks like she's taken the detailing off and stuck fluffy pompoms on instead!

that’s unbelievable! I had a voucher for the theatre in Dublin so I got tickets for CJ! The Saturday matinee was well selling, and its not until next August.

Anytime she brought out her scores for us to see, tells me two things. She’s lying about not being able to read sheet music, or she needs the lyrics. I always thought a score was lost on her as she reminds us that he can't tread sheet music.
When the first twitter argument broke out and Carrie singled out the drama school student who asked why professional musical theatre actors seemed to be proud of not being able to read music, I came to the conclusion that Carrie can read music but can’t sight sing. Knowing what note the little black dot means doesn’t mean you can pluck D5 out of thin air. A lot of singers cannot sight sing but being able to read music does help in learning music by yourself especially if you have a keyboard or piano at home for note bashing. Carrie chose the wrong hill to die on when she singled out that drama student (she actually said that if they were ever in a show together she would actively choose not to sit next to him).
When it comes to her vocal range, interesting to hear that she still struggles with anything in her head voice. She has known for years that her head voice, supported head voice and mix are the weakest parts of her voice. She always automatically goes to belting. Trying to be the loudest person on stage. It’s no wonder that her group The Cardinals didn’t last very long as Carrie doesn’t really know how to control the loudness of her voice or how to blend. I think she only uses singing teachers / warm ups provided by the shows that she is in and when she isn’t in a show doesn’t care about her voice. To call her ‘queen of the west end’ when she’s done like 4 west end shows (not counting stuff she did as a kid or playing 2 characters in these same musical. Les Mis, Heathers, ALW Cinderella and The Crown Jewels. Les Mis was the only one she got rave reviews for (as Eponine, a lot of people think she was miscast as Fantine). Heathers, most thought she was ‘celeb’ casting. We all know what happened with Cinderella and The Crown Jewels was mainly described as a continuation of Al Murray’s stand up and also got terrible reviews. How she still has any musical theatre career left completely boggles me 😂

Edinburgh is much more sold out, which is surprising given the cheapest tickets are £25, that's for crappy views, I see they haven't opened the upper circle in Edinburgh though, so only 2 levels.
