I know what you mean. The cancer - no she doesn't deserve that, no one does.
However, losing her leg? Had she taken the antibiotics she wouldn't have been amputated, mind you she's thrilled now because she has a disability badge for it
I get confused when people with cancer do the go fund me pages because their other half is off work etc.. most people have insurance now for critical illness? I thought the whole purpose of that was to substitute your income?

Exactly she can't control the cancer no matter what you do to help prevent getting a diagnosis or if you do you get one then it doesn't just go whatever you change or if you don't get treatment. The leg infection though she could have prevented and that's what I don't understand! If that is how I thought and I don't want to put chemo in my body id do everything I could to not lose a limb!
im pretty sure the doctors confirmed that the infection was from the dye used in the contrast CT and was lifelong so she would always have to take antibiotics. It did get to a point where the infection really took hold regardless of treatment so they chose to amputate.
I started following her when we both had the same illness and as much as her ideas on chemo etc are differing I’ve never seen her as a cancer influencer as such? Just a mum who’s scared she’s going to leave her kids
