Hi cowbags, been away for a few days with my family, managed to keep my holiday offline until I returned , I always do….chubby chops needs to try it it’s very refreshing ….anyway I’ve been reading back and well done Ethan , she clearly backed the wrong horse kid wise with the talent in the family , but I can see her having him in stage school quicker than you can shout Sylvia Young lol….which is fine if it’s his dream, not fine if it’s hers 🤬

Surely this is a record for the worst engagement for an AD? 🤔😱😂

Why did "family" send the video of Ethan miming over to her? She was there and she is never without her phone in hand so surely she filmed it? It didn't make sense
I just watched it and thought the same. She went twice so how did she not film this.
And sorry....he was alright but just looked like most Y6 in their end of year performance. Please don't shout at me.

He looked embarrassed/not confident to me, mind you if my "mom" was Babs I'd be permanently embarrassed 😂😂😂 I'm pleased for him that he was Danny and he is far better than Erin but I agree he was alright

Surely as a child, miming to a song, in time is harder than actually singing 🤔 wow that's a new one that's for sure!
yeah, babs claim that lip syncing along to their own pre-recorded singing means the kids were less anxious - to me, it would be far more anxiety-inducing to have to mime, trying to get the timing right etc. 🤷🏻‍♂️

also, it's a school play - not a West end show. the kids are aged 10/11 - putting them under so much pressure that they aren't even allowed to sing in stage as they might not do it perfectly is pretty extreme. surely the emphasis should be more on the having fun and enjoying the performance than perfection and teaching them that to make a mistake would ruin the whole show, plus it hardly gives the kids confidence that their teachers have any belief in them if they don't let them sing on stage! 🤷🏻‍♂️

If she really wanted to include watering her plants, she could have at least made it relevant with something along the lines of “I’ve started the process of making my face plumper, now to make my plants plumper with a watering, my sofa plumper with the cushions” etc, etc.

It’s not exactly rocket science to shoe horn it in babs!
