How can a couple, mid 40’s with 2 kids, who have so much income, have only been using disposable BBQs to cook food? WTAF?!!

How can they go on multiple holidays a year but it’s always remained a ‘dream’ for her husband to have a BBQ?

The furniture looks so uncomfortable. Only four seats, so absolutely no intention of inviting any friends of family over. The plastic plates look so tacky.

The whole ‘so I treated him’ makes no sense? You didn’t - it was a freebie. But even if it wasn’t, why does she need to position herself like she is his mother? A BBQ and garden furniture would be a purchase for the whole family. I earn much more than my husband, but when we make a family purchase I don’t consider that something that I have bought…it’s something we’ve made a decision on together
