poor little E. the sole reason she even mention the kid was because she caught up here, and was reminded that the golden child had banners and balloons and cake laid out for her when she finished her SATs, plus a grid post dedicated to HER and how incredible she is.
as for Ethan, he was burdened with babs' own AnXiEtY and emotions about his SATs, so while he may have felt a little nervous, by the time he arrived at schools he'd had the entire weekend with babs' intentionally making it into a huge deal and undoubtedly went into his exams feeling far more anxious than he did before babs got involved and demanded she sharpie matching "dig here" X's for pirates on the look out for buried treasure in their hands.
and then, on top of all that, "mummy got ill with poorly heart" and was whisked off to hospital by an ambulance with the blue lights "popped in" because she can't miss an opportunity to be dramatic and take photos for content. her latest post mentioned that the "the kids are just being kids" - the hobbit hovel is hardly an environment where the Es are able to free to express themselves, or encouraged to talk about how they're feeling etc - little E dared to ask a few questions when Lucy died and babs shared that she "distracted him with sweets and TV" because she isn't emotionally able to answer questions about "sad times" - she won't have explained what's happening to them in a manner that they understand and that reassures them, she'll have spent the past few days moping around with periods of "weeping" about how she is "ill" and mentions of her "poorly" her at and upcoming operation.
if Ethan is as sensitive as babs claims, he's likely to be feeling scared as he will have overheard stuff and had babs give him a few toddler-appropriate explanation about how she is "feeling wobbly" and needs to rest, and then shoved sugary snacks and reward box tat at him if he tries to ask questions and dismissing him by telling him she needs to rest and the emotional manipulation of "you don't want me to get ill again, do you?" etc, rather than explain everything and allow the kids to ask whatever questions they need to. the poor kids probably spent SATs week worrying his mum was going to have a heart attack at any moment.
as for the hair, she obviously hates it - but guaranteed the only change will be that she's moved her parting to either the millennium side parting or the Gen Z middle parting, whatever the opposite is to what she has now - I have totally lost track - and expect applause and praise for her BRAVERY in making such a wild, radical change. (again).
