this is what annoys me, that people are making Wicked and being a Wicked fan their whole personality just because it's the current popular thing, when they literally didn't care about it before. If she was such a huge fan she could have seen the stage show on one of the many trips she has made to London just to see Frozen.

As an OG fan I’m glad more people are seeing it for the first time and loving it, but she claims to have seen it before and yet really doesn’t seem to have been that fussed about it until now. So why the obsession all of a sudden?

The bit about pants that turn into shorts made me laugh. 😭😂😅 I don’t think she’s burnt out because of Benji though. I think she says she’s burnt out because it’s an excuse to do nothing, other than exactly what she wants, all of the time and she’s a bit lazy.

Also, is it just me or is a 9-day ski trip that you're driving to*, and not even planning on skiing every day of, a bit excessive? I'm not a skier myself but I've done some outdoor activity trips that were 9-10 days and they're SO INTENSE. It seems like an obviously sedentary out of shape couple planning a 9-day ski trip is just them trying to avoid being around family at Christmas. Actually now that I'm typing that, I bet that's why she's going on about being "not the norm." She wants to believe they have this adventurous unconventional relationship rather than admitting to herself that she's not close with her family and also has no close friends. Hence running away to get married on a cruise, running away to go skiing for Christmas....

*ETA, by "driving" I meant I would understand someone from the US not just making a weekend trip to the alps in Europe, but for them it's obviously something they could just do a couple long weekends of throughout the ski season. You know they'd keel over if they tried being active 9 days in a row! It's a long drive but what's the point of just sitting around in an expensive tourist area for all those extra days?

The drive is going to be fun because she gets tired after driving for 2 hours. This is a 14 hours drive (Do they even own snow tires? You can't know when you'll need them and with all the crap they're taking it's not like they can let the car in a parking down the mountain). So he's going to be doing the most of it and be tired af and pretty sure they'll need 2 days before going skiing. I don't even think Benj has ever driven that much? When they went with her mother, the step father was the only one driving (Julie seems clueless af). I feel like they're going to stop in a hotel to rest and be like "this wasn't planned but we're so tired". Good luck to that big ass heavy KIA on the smallest roads I guess.

Same as the ones who jumped on the Taylor Swift bandwagon, Brogs included. They’re so desperate to be part of the in crowd it’s tragic.

The one thing that made me giggle from her IG story about going to see Wicked for the 4th time was her and BinScar listening to the two soundtracks on the way there and way back and having a full on discussion about which was better etc. I don’t know any straight man besides those who are musical theatre performers, who would take such an in-depth interest in it. Sure go to a show or three if you enjoy the odd show but if they really did do that, she’s married to her gay bestie.
 
The way she talks about burn out while also having the disposable amount of free time required to see the same movie on four separate occasions LOL. I’m having to squeeze in a solo Saturday morning viewing of Wicked as it’s the only time I can manage between working all week and then catching up with every other real life thing over my two weekend days off 😭 I want to see it in the theatre as I am a fan of the show and I feel some movies you just have to have the cinematic experience for. Though after that I will be happy enough to wait for it to be available to stream at home especially.

Ok true, I may be biased as an American who will drive 7 hours for anything 😂

But 9 days still seems excessive to me for people like them. Maybe 4 or 5 days would be more reasonable?

I don't mind driving, and I think an hour or so is nothing for most, but there are plenty of folks here in the US who live in a small little area and won't live beyond a 5 minute drive to work etc.
 
Haha oh my goodness same here - if I have to drive an hour to go somewhere, it feels epic. When I went to America recently, I got chatting to people in queues and asked if they’d travelled far…they were like no not really then said they’d driven like 72 hours to get there, like it was nothing! Road trips just hit different in the States!
