I know we’ve all said it before but I’ll say it again… if you have to do this much to “make” your hair curly, it’s not naturally curly. Yes, I could use a silk pillowcase to help with the frizz but none of them match my sheets and duvet cover. lol I use curly/wavy shampoo and conditioner bars and then Lush’s curl cream. That’s it. Unless you’re a POC with very specific curly hair needs, there’s just no need.
There’s a US flight attendant who I watch with a million different hair products, coincidentally from the company that sponsors some of her videos
, and she’s constantly blow drying, straightening and using the Dyson airwrap. I can’t help but wonder if al these women stopped with all the heat and 40 step hair care even for curly hair, that their hair would actually recover and look better.
