Poor bonnie, she deserved so much better than these twats!!

Regardless of what's happened, she left that poor dog, tossed aside so she could go and spend 70k on a floating care home. Bonnie deserved so much better. I actually feel sick thinking how confused that poor dog must have been, wondering where her so-called owners were!!

Respectfully I think you are in the minority, we aren’t presuming she was on the decline, we know she was because Brogan said so before they went away in a vlog.

Secondly, even before the decline started, Bonnie was already an elderly dog (she had already reached average max age for a spaniel at this point) when they decided to book a wedding that involved bleeping off for 3 months. They should have never booked it in the first place, and when they realised she was slowing down they should have pulled it. A pet is a living thing and more important than a wedding day ffs they had a duty to care for a previously abandoned dog, and they abandoned her. It’s utterly selfish.

I think most normal people would have never booked the trip in the first place or pulled it/changed their plans at least.

oh right I hadn’t realise she knew she was on the decline, they definitely could have considered doing this trip next year knowing bonnie was probably going to pass this year in that case!

Agree. I don’t think for one second they had her put down or anything like that, but I do think they suspected she might not make it more than they let on.

This is why they had to go through the back door and “adopt” off Gumtree because there’s no way an adoption agency would have permitted them to have a dog with their lifestyle of constantly bleeping off

They absolutely should not get cats. I have a ragdoll and he's like a little puppy, follows me from room to room. Cats still miss their owners when you're away and can get separation anxiety. The absolute guilt I felt when I went on holiday for 2 weeks and had to put him in a cattery, and that's once a year! These two shouldn't even be allowed a house plant

I don’t think her age matters personally. If you have pets, you don’t book a world cruise and go away for 3 months, long holidays are just one of the sacrifices you make when deciding to get a dog, they were selfish from the get go

Call me deluded but my dog is like my child so I liken the situation to a mother dumping their poorly kid on a grandparent so they can waddle about in shopping centres on the other side of the world for 3 months. Totally selfish decision to book &/or proceed with the trip knowing their rescue dog was declining in health and coming to the end of her life.

On a more positive note, I'm so happy to read that so many of you are loving, caring and responsible pet owners. The best kind of humans ❤

Poor Bonnie I gave my sprocker lots of extra cuddles this eve!.

I know Julie is a dick but I'm sure Bonnie felt safe and loved with her as she basically lived with her due to how many times those twats would abandon her. Just so unfair that she didn't go to decent owners in her final years. I hope they feel a lot of guilt but the only thing they seem to care about is themselves and food so I sadly doubt they will, they will just lap up all the sympathy.

I think Bonnie was the ideal excuse, she lost all interest for this cruise after Hong Kong, no Vietnam vlog, Singapore was a bore and now I doubt we will see a vlog for kuala lumpa, Mauritius, Durban or Tenerife. We might get Cape Town just for the brag.
Bonnie will be the excuse when the reality was she was completely checked out and the footage she knew was tit and wouldn’t get her any ‘travel vlogger’ views

I’m devastated about Bonnie. She died believing that she had been abandoned by her humans. 100% died from a broken heart. I sincerely hope these neglectful cunts spend the rest of their lives feeling intense guilt. I said to my husband prior to this cruise that Bonnie wouldn’t make it and think she’d been abandoned again. Something from this whole situation timeline etc doesn’t add up.

I dog and kitty sit for various friends and neighbours. Nobody around here with pets goes away more than two weeks. Period. If someone has to be gone an extended period for work or a family emergency, normally there’s a partner staying home with the pet.

As others have said, people with pets wouldn’t contemplate a 2-3 month holiday. You just don’t leave them that long. The fact that they even booked the trip in the first place while owning a dog speaks volumes.

I go on holiday for a week, maybe twice a year and I miss my 2 dogs terribly. I can’t fathom leaving for 3 months or however long this stupid cruise is.
