Can you imagine if she had gotten pregnant? I can't even fathom how she'd make it through pregnancy, let alone raising a baby. Might sound cruel to some, but thank god that didn't happen and fingers crossed she doesn't get knocked up by another hanger on.

There's no hook to get off, though. It's not his responsibility to help her and if he tried, she'd accuse him of all kinds. As would her fans and enablers. But I get what you're saying in the eyes of the general public.

Yup. That’s what I am thinking too. And maybe that’s a reach but there would always be someone saying he should have done more etc.
she would never listen to anything he said, as you say-she would go bananas about it and publicly too
