Thanks to you and @wishiniwasskinny yes the link updates fine, it’s frustrating that the little graphic-y thing that they proudly emailed me will be completely inaccurate by the end of the year though. What’s the point of it then?

I already thought Bill was dead, shows you how much I’ve been paying attention And I agree with @Blueblue123 I have o idea how any of it is set out.

Equally grumpy here ! Having a few personal issues right now and feeling thoroughly miserable. In fact the only thing I’m enjoying is reading and this thread really!
 
Whilst I might be unhauling books I just couldn't help myself and bought all of these today 🤦‍♀️

Will Chloe become the first/only one to succumb to death? She sounds so poorly.

How is Beth just carrying on like that with her hand injury?

I thought the radio station building might have been a bit closer to civilisation and that they would be able to see houses when they got out, but I guess not. They must be completely disorientated.

Will they be able to stay hidden from snowmobile person?

It is all getting a little bit unbelievable, but I am still here for it!

I feel like a lot is going to happen in the next 4 days

25 days is rated 3.75 on goodreads, so not bad.
 
Is this family invincible or what? I didn't really like how it skipped over them going back into the building for food but whatever.

I feel like it's a given that whoever is after them will catch them in the woods. Still 4 days to go and they're relatively safe, no way.
 
I thought this was another meh chapter.
Why make a point of them thinking about stopping to get food in the last chapter and then skip to them back outside?
Chloe doesn’t sound well, will she die first?
Will Beth’s hand get infected? Or not because it was effectively cauterised by the blow torch? 🤢
Adam’s gunshot wound doesn’t seem to be causing many issues considering, surely that would have done him some serious damage?
It’s a bit ridiculous they’re all still alive and wandering about in the woods despite the cold temperatures and them not having the correct clothing or equipment.
I think snow mobile guy will turn up again in the next chapter. Only 4 chapters left, it’s got to pick up again./SPOILER]

I did the same the other day, although in my defence I was heavily encouraged by my mother who I told you all Toola Roola’d me, the woman is a bad influence, what can I say

Can’t wait to see what people think of the rest 👀

What did you think of the ending? I thought the chapter in the petrol station was good. But the last couple of lines ruined it for me. I was planning on giving it 3 stars but reduced it to 2 when the stocking was mentioned. I cant believe we didnt get any explanation about why he targeted them. No explanation about why they needed this holiday so much and then that ending! .

Yeah I’m with you, I was wanting the psycho to be a character we’d already met. I suppose it not being, fits with the general horror idea of the big scary unknown. I liked that it was ‘continuing’ at the end but I’d have liked more answers, if not getting a sequel. I think it worked out too well for them all 😅

I won’t post any more ending spoilers so as not to tempt anyone 🙈

Yes I agree more questions than answers. Like did Bill's wife report him missing? Also i'm not sure how big the fire was but if it was big enough that Chloe had smoke posioning why didnt it alert someone. A building on fire on a mountain would surely be visible?
 
I cannot believe that more people have broken ranks! Come on people, there’s only a few days to go!! Also, if anyone does post any ending spoilers please please please mark them as such. I don’t want to have got this far and accidentally click something that spoils it.

I’m shocked that they didn’t make more of them being in an old radio station and try and find a way to communicate from there. Seems a bit daft to mention that’s where they are and have it come to nothing.

I know it’s hard to paint a full picture when you’re only writing very short, 2/3 minute chapters per day but there’s been lots of things mentioned that haven’t gone anywhere. Seems a waste of valuable words.

im so glad i read it. I feel so unsatisfied with the ending. It was like the slides, the projector, the stocking were all irrelevant. So many unanswered questions!

I’m staying on the nice list with you.

I agree about the radio station, there could’ve been more made of that. But also the way they were chained against the edge of the room and then the other room where Bill was I was imagining an abandoned factory. It didn’t feel like it was written as an old radio station.
