De Zerbi said it’s a significant injury so if he did go back to club right away before the spa place surely they’d tell him to rest up and maybe put a brace on or something to stabilise it? I think he started to feel pain in his knee yesterday but that is just a guess because if he did go back to the club on Thursday they would have advised him to rest at home.

Yeah that’s what I think as well 👍🏻 as he wouldn’t have been out Wednesday night if he was in pain etc. Well, I hope not anyway!

If he was in pain on Wednesday he would have stayed at home IMO so the most likely explanation is that the pain started on Friday. I have just been reading the Argus which is the local newspaper in Brighton and it says that he is expected to be out for at least a month.

It sounds like he injured himself in the tackle that he got booked for on Tuesday as the Sun said he seemed to come off worse in the tackle and grimaced through the next few minutes before he was substituted.

Yeah that’s why I don’t understand why he went out on the Wednesday night though? He must have felt something?

Same I am struggling to understand why he went out on Wednesday night because if he felt it during the game on Tuesday he would have certainly felt it the next day. If he was feeling pain he would have been told to rest and stay at home but it looks like he has possibly made the injury worse.

Or maybe it was already bound up by Scotland Physios? But he’d have stayed home if that was the case surely?

Won’t have had a lot of action with P then? 🤣

I agree the Scotland physios would have bound up the knee especially if he was feeling pain in it and IMO they would have told him to rest but Billy decided that instead of resting up he would go to that hotel and spa with P instead. I bet she was massively disappointed that her trip to the hotel and spa didn't go the way she had planned but then again she clearly didn't care as she was dropping hints left, right and centre that she was with him.

I’m really surprised at him doing that if that’s the case though 🙁 spa was probably already booked, but still.

I'm surprised at him too as I thought he would rest up at home. I mean I get that spa was probably already booked but he could have cancelled or allowed her to go with a friend as surely he would have known to listen to the physios advice yet he didn't as he still went ahead with the trip. I still love him but I have to say this has left me feeling very disappointed with him that he didn't listen to the physios.
