Not surprised he’s settled in so well. He’s a lovely guy and easy going, so he gets on well with everyone. Not heard a bad word about him from anyone I know that knows him.

Don’t know how Barcelona do it. You’d think players would be wary about going to them but seems the opposite! I reckon if Billy keeps playing consistently well he’ll get a move to a bigger club.

I honestly don't know how Barcelona keeping doing it but they find a way. Exactly surely the players can see how much they are struggling financially and that they can't even be registered to play for them unless they sell someone yet they still seem willing to sign for them despite all the things that are going on. I agree if Billy keeps performing well and to the standards that are expected of him then he will most definitely get a move to a bigger club although Napoli are pretty big themselves. It wouldn't surprise me if he eventually ends up going back to the Premier League again.

If he comes back to the PL at some point I wouldn't be surprised if he joins Chelsea again either them or a top 6 club IMO.

Scott and Lukaku must have been partners in crime then if they were wearing similar outfits and Billy must have gone as someone mysterious if you haven't had any luck so far.

Yeah, I don't have a clue as to who Billy was dressed as but the main thing is that he was enjoying himself and you can't blame him in the slightest.

Yeah, I can definitely see him ending up back at Chelsea and I agree they'll pay a massive fee for him when they sold him for 7m oh well they only have themselves to blame.

Yeah, I didn't expect to see that scoreline this afternoon and I'm not sure how Billy played either but it looks like the whole team had an off day. Exactly they will need to buck up their ideas pronto as Inter will not be an easy game and if they are off it like they were today then I can see them losing quite heavily. Yep after that it's internationals again which I'm really excited for not.

Looks like Lobotka may not make it back for Inter game so hopefully Billy will get another chance on Sunday. Lobotka has been picked for the upcoming internationals though? Maybe he just won’t be fit in time for Sunday but will be ok for the following week? Surprised clubs let players who aren’t 100% fit go on international duty.

I suppose Lobotka could be fit I mean Slovakia must know something for him to have been called up for the upcoming internationals. I think they will ease him back slowly but if he does play in the international games then he's obviously fully recovered from the injury. It is a big game and they will need to be shape as Inter are very dangerous up front and the game is on TNT Sports 1 on Sunday.

He got injured on the 27th of August so he was only out injured for 10 weeks and I agree he will do well at Brighton and I'm delighted that he scored tonight against City as it will do wonders to his confidence.

Yeah, I miss watching Billy in the PL but at the end of the day his heart was set on Napoli the minute that they expressed interest and tbf he does seem really happy in Naples.

He was really happy at Brighton but like you I don't believe he was Hurzeler's first choice and tbh I think this had a major influence of his move to Napoli because if he had have been first choice at Brighton I reckon he would have stayed.

It's an interesting one regarding on whether he would have stayed had de Zerbi still been in charge because I think he would have stayed for possibly 1 more season, however if Napoli had still coming calling I think de Zerbi would have sat down with him and told Billy that if he wanted to leave he could go with his blessing the fact that he spoke to de Zerbi before he moved showed just how close they were and how much he valued his opinion. I agree assuming that they have indeed split I have no doubt in my mind that they would still be together. It does look like the move changed all of that though.

Yeah, Napoli fully suits his style of play and Conte is someone who obviously has a lot of faith in him and believes in him which will lead to Billy learning a lot from him in fact I still believe that Conte saw what potential Billy had when he was at Chelsea. I reckon he will be back in the PL in 2 or 3 years time and end up back at Chelsea.

Napoli are a far bigger club than Brighton. A top club who have the chance to win the title and will be expected to do well in Europe next season. It's a brilliant move for Gilmour.
