I’ve missed a few days of these threads but just came here to say how in gods name is Tom Jim not up for eviction this week? And doesn’t this mean he has managed to coast to the final week… no one has ever deserved it less than him. He’s the worst, most irrelevant housemate possibly ever

Still going to wait for tomorrow with my voting. As I said last night, I think Chanelle is all but gone, so deciding between Jenkin and Olivia. I am leaning towards voting for Jenkin at the moment, as he is a persistent bitter, miserable housemate with disguting habits. Olivia is a nasty little runt at times, but I do think she seems a bit better again since Paul left. Only a little bit, but still.

Let's see what tonights episode brings though.
 
This whole discussion has got me introspective about my own unconscious biases. Someone like Noky- beautiful, poised, successful. If people describe her as dignified it’s like saying she’s bearing the burden of being black, and she’s acceptable because she doesn’t make a fuss (she cries a lot but it’s not intrusive like Yinrun’s wailing, and not challenging like when Trish bites back). I feel pretty disgusted with myself, ngl but at least I have some self awareness and try to be better. I had viewed Trish as like me, a bit older, a mum, a feminist- strong because she’s had to be. (When you wear the feminist heart on your sleeve people expect confrontation). To see her through other people’s eyes- people who on paper are my demographic has been a discomfiting eye opener. The horrible truth is most people would view me as more like Kerry- middle aged, closeted bigot, straight white bread white woman. I probably love the daily mail, have “live, laugh, love” on my living room wall and pay lip-service to EDI whilst privately loving the EDL. I don’t do any of those things but you get what I’m saying. I hope I haven’t offended anyone with this post, and I’m happy to be corrected if it’s not derailing the thread.
Also, I hate Tom, in case I’ve not mentioned it before 😅

I wish I could wait and be measured but I vote emotionally! Also worried I will somehow forget/have a technology fail if I leave it too late
