Bex Wolfnsunflowers #11 Hopefully you'll have time to finish your book now, Bex!

We now have a wiki! I have not done one before but if people have suggestions on what should be on there i will attempt to add
Excellent work!
I'm still collating screenies from old threads - I should be done this week - if you're happy to wait a few days we could use these as a baseline of info and then pad out the gaps? Or we can do it the other way round of course! I've saved them in categories so not sure if I can get them back in chronological order though...

Poor Matthew Superbacker.

Just refund the people their money Bex and admit defeat. You couldn’t even manage to publish the book.

I know she flirted with local and national press for various things but I think the TRUE beginning of the grift that is Bex Kitchen was when this went viral and earned her many hundreds of pounds in free money from well meaning stranger support. I believe THIS is when she had her epiphany on just how lucrative AND easy to hide from benefit claim information the Twitter viral phenomenon can actually be.

PS - she was STILL milking it hard a year ago - hankering for new followers and loving the buzz of the likes and shares.

Or even a list. Pre-coffee post up there.

I'd quite enjoy some classic examples of when she's slagged her hero JM or bff RSM off as I think it's also fairly indicative of character.

I'm not sure we've got any of these as I'm pretty sure I've gone past the point when Jack's grift unraveled and haven't come across any.

Without sounding like a broken record, this is why it's always good to SS and share everything here, as now she's deleted everything there's loads of stuff that's recalled and referenced but unfortunately no receipts because they weren't grabbed at the time

It's hard to identify the moment the grift began with a lot of these chancers, they're insidious.
As has been queried a few times on the Sarah Jay threads, and I think is also v. relevant to Bex, how do we draw the line between people "making content" on Twitter, getting paid for that by paypigs, and being "unable to work"? Surely in practice, if you're spending all day every day tweeting utter crap to get people to send you money, you're spending your time doing something that gets you paid, which is a job. With Bex it's a bit less blurred as she's claimed previously she does alert the DWP to her sex work earnings and is paying tax accordingly - but really why is this different to the Twitter grifting, why isn't that being highlighted as work, meaning she IS capable of working? On this point though (and I know this has been mithered about before), if she's capable of doing sex work, why and how is she simultaneously incapable of work? I get not being able to stack shelves, but why isn't she considered capable of getting a WFH admin type job? Except of course she then can't "homeschool" kiddo, which she's also surely "incapable" of doing? It makes duck all sense to me that people are being forced (by the DWP) to jump through hoops as they're considered 'capable' and despite there being so much evidence of her being capable, she somehow simultaneously is and isn't?

Also I'm absolutely amazed we've not yet had a visit from Matthew Superbacker

---
ALSO obviously accepting money to write a book also very much implies an ability and willingness (or did) to work, not sure how I didn't mention that in my above, now uneditable, mithering

I don’t know how to record grifts in the wiki but even before the BIG grift, she was begging for Twitter handouts. A memorable one was when she alleged a desperate need for a DSB check funded or she would lose a job opportunity. People chipped in and within hours she had the money and was deleting the requests.

I remember highlighting in the Jack threads a couple of her early grifts and getting a slapped wrist and deleted posts at the time because it wasn’t Jack adjacent enough!

Let's not forget the "need £300 urgently to repay my parents who are desperate for cash for deposit/s they paid to wedding venues for one of three or two failed walks up the aisle."

It was SO BIZARRE. The detail she went to. Always a sure sign of lies, IMO.

I confess I found that after the Aldi algorithm and was raising my eyebrows at her so did a Covid lockdown deep dive in her twitter over a series of long nights!

What the duck? 😂 I'm sure a DBS check was only about 40 quid max a few years ago and even still, it's vanishingly rare that a company would get you to do your own as they could be falsified. What a joker.

How were 170 odd folk daft enough to pay for an audiobook when presumably they were able to see her chaotic social media posts? Christ man, it's like natural selection but the financial version.
