Bex Wolfnsunflowers #11 Hopefully you'll have time to finish your book now, Bex!

That's correct, you still get Child benefit and Universal credit from UK government too. It's quite a bit more money. The forms are not as stringent either. DWP forms used to take me 7 hours. SCDP takes two hours at most. That is good thing if you are an exhausted parent who is short on time due to caring duties but it makes it easier for grifters. They still require supporting evidence from medical professionals and schools though. It's also at least a 2 year waiting list just to have your CAHMS referral looked at. The schools for children with complex additional needs are oversubscribed. I don't know if the situation is as bad in England but her son might miss out on vital help if she relocates.

If she does relocate, it's going to end up like guest and Leggy. When Bex inevitably gets kicked out on her arse, where will she and her poor son go? I imagine her parents won't take them in.
I wonder if she'll still home school in Scotland? Or if she'll want more free time with Naandrew?

Doesn't Scotland have more control on homeschooling compared to England & Wales?
I've just looked into it and yes they do, but unfortunately it won't apply here; the main difference is that you need permission from the local authority to homeschool your child, but the loophole she'll inevitably be exploiting, is that this only applies to children being removed from a state school to be homeschooled, so he'll fall through the gap.
She will, of course, be aware of this, and will also have likely worked out to the penny the P&L of losing her lone person UC benefit VS additional child benefit and living with someone who (I'm assuming) has a job. Ghoul.

I wonder if she will continue her empowering feminist sex work when she moves in with Naan the man. He wasn't keen on it was he but she will need to contribute to the bills. Perhaps he will succeed in encouraging her to get a job.

She only ever did it because:

1) She wanted to say she had a job whilst effectively spend her days really doing f**k all - chatting to a few weirdos here and there.
2) It gave her something to claim victimhood over, as she could shout about the legitimate risk of violence and how men treat sex workers (despite the fact that she's a middle class woman in England, not a trafficked Eastern European doing physical sex work in a seedy place).
3) She thinks it made her appear attractive enough that men didn't just want sex with her, they'd pay for sex with her.

Now Naandrew can pay the bills and fulfil her need for validation, why would she keep doing it?

I’ve had a lot on at work (Google it, Rebecca Kitchen, it’s what most of us do to get by) so I’ve missed all this.

Uprooting a child to move countries for some grock she met online. Her irresponsibility, and absolute determination to limpet onto any sap silly enough to slip her one, never cease to astound me.

Whatever will all the besties do without her? Not to mention the super close family. I mean, given her reputation as the local bike/nutter, it’s probably for the best for her, but what about her child’s relationship with his father?

Here for it all inevitably falling apart and her return to SM under a different @ in the hope of avoiding accountability and refunds.

I really do wonder how this has gone down with kiddo's dad. My dad tried to move me 2 hours away when I was a kid and my mum (despite seeing me rarely, and regularly traumatising me when she did) went mental and blocked it, so I find it very, very hard to believe he's just been like "yeah ok despite being regularly irresponsible you can move him to another country"

What if things take a dark turn and Naandrew isn't a nice guy? I mean he already isn't that nice but what if she lives with him and finds out he is abusive for example? She is putting her child in danger. And being far from her family and hometown means access to help is limited. Lots of abusers like to move their victims away from their familiar environment, family and friends. I'm not saying that Naandrew is a monster but so many men that are met online turn out to be quite dangerous. Bex should seriously think about that. And check Clare's Law, Bex. Just in case.
