Bex Wolfnsunflowers #11 Hopefully you'll have time to finish your book now, Bex!

I don't think I screen shotted tweets from Bex and her homeschool buddies a few months ago congratulating themselves on not having to get up for school. Bex didn't even hide the fact she thought school parents were idiots being tied to the tyranny of school times while she stayed in bed.
My youngest child has severe developmental and physical disabilities. She was granted a place at school that specialises in children with complex additional needs. I have seen my child thrive since starting school. She has come on leaps and bounds developmentally and communication wise. She loves her routine and the school bus. She loves the social aspect and the sensory activities. The school gives her so much from experiences, to education, confidence, medical support, therapy and security. There is no way I could provide such a varied experience at home. The routine and structure from the school experience is vital for my child. She misses that routine during the summer holidays. Being stuck at home every day would be detrimental for her and she would not be able to progress as much as she has. I know school can be difficult for some children and of course mainstream school cannot be compared on a like for like basis. But to dismiss school without really trying it is cheating her son out of something he may really enjoy and benefit from. He is quite likely delayed academically, socially and emotionally because of how she has isolated him. If he is genuinely neurodivergant than it's all the more important to get him inti the education system and access to extra support.

It's daft, but arguably it's one of the less dodgy reasons for homeschooling, given that it's often used for essentially religious indoctrination.

I think you are right, she is isolating that poor boy deliberately. She can feed him all sorts of lies and false validation about his supposed ASD with no one to counter it. Nor can he accidentally let slip to a school that he has stayed over at strange men's houses or walked in on mummy doing something weird for her fans. And that's on top of having to fend for himself and the animals in the mornings whilst mummy sleeps off another substance induced hangover.

Absolutely, I have said this before. Safeguarding team would have a field day with just ONE of those tales of "Mummy took me to her friend's house for a sleepover, a long way away". I don't think she's very bright really but she's smart enough to realise that.

A reminder - £6k from supporters and this is her level of commitment to them. Six weeks plus since she last updated and still no product (again - how many deadlines is that missed now?).

I think you should delete this account Bex - and just call it a day. Tell your backers there is no book. We were only ever here to highlight your begging for free cash and if you are done with that side of your life, you might as well shut this one down completely too.

She's doing the classic weave and dodge. The actual Kickstarter page was last updated 3 June. Why make the big update on the X account? I don't know I'm making it a question, given that I know the answer.

Dodge, weave, tippy tappy thieve. Cover your back, cover your tracks, hide in plain sight, just refund the cash

Why doesn't she just produce a pdf version, admit she can't make the physical version a reality and say she'll refund anyone who backed a higher tier? If she threw in the sob stories half her backers would probably just chalk the money up as gone amd leave it be. She could go without nails and Holidays short trips to pay people, or she could probably borrow from her family given they seem fairly affluent. I don't get why she keeps the albatross hanging around her neck

100%. I really do not understand why she hasn't got chatGPT to generate a load of recipes based on the pictures she's taken already it, flung it into a PDF, and got a local printer to get enough printed for the backers and rid herself of this. It's a few days work at most. She wouldn't even need to refund then.

There’s a special kind of irony in today’s tweet about being online to protect her son when she quite literally took him to stay in the house of a strange man she’d never met before.

Methinks the issue is less about the concern for Kiddo’s safety and more about hoping to stop people talking about her.
My twitter is being a dick and just not loading.
Is she back on twitter then? Is she locked?
How is she justifying staying online to protect her son?

There are plenty of whiny replies - and a couple calling her out as the a Jack Monroe / she has pity partied her way through a few of them. Moaning the £6k wasn’t worth it. Except we know she has scammed WAY more than the £6k on the fake book. She has had her digital hand out for years.

And I agree with the consensus. If that child has NOT been harmed by her truly awful behaviours and choice in bedfellows (can’t call them anything else really - they don’t hang around long enough to be lovers or boyfriends), well then, it’s only sheer good fortune - and that will invariably run out as she continues to rack up the ‘uncles’.

Guess what? she is waiting for postcards! You couldn’t make it up! 😂
