Better Call Saul

Not gonna lie - I did a squeal of excitement when I realised it was the desert scene with Walt and Jesse.
But I agree it didn't add much...I guess it's a way of rewarding the viewers! We've waited so long to see them in the Saul universe it was great.
Although I thought it was odd that Jesse didn't say "witch"- I think he said something like "dick" instead. Made me scratch my head.

Also Kevin Sussman as the mark with cancer - just felt like they were ripping off Stuart from Big bang theory 😂

Still enjoyed it, I just feel like we're waiting for the sh*t to hit the fan now. Hope we see Kim one last time, although in what context I can't decide ..!!

I hope the show wraps it up nicely. I noticed they managed to give you recaps on many of the characters like Huell, which was a nice bonus. As much as I love the BB universe, I think they’ve done enough around the story now. El Camino was a nice bonus but totally unnecessary.

I was reading there are rumours of a Gus spinoff about his early career which just sounds boring to be honest. I don’t get the hype around the character and the actor gets worse every season. And it’s yet another Netflix show about drug cartels, when there are already loads of great shows in that genre.

Not to mention the fact he’s fatter and old and can in no way pass for a young Gus 😅🤣 it was bad enough in Saul

I'm.sure I head somewhere that Vince Gilligan had no intention of making another spin off as he doesn't wanna exhaust or spoil it - which as sad as I would be as I love it all, makes sense!

I was bored of Gus early on in BCS as we all knew Walt absolutely beasts him anyway. The cartel stuff just drags. Like you said, plenty of shows around that aspect of gang life.

The taxi guy figured out Jimmy/Gene was Saul and to get him off his case, he helped him with the theft con so that he had something over on him. He was bringing the security guy the cinnamon bun to time how long it took him to eat it, to see how long he’d have where he wasn’t watching the camera and the guy could steal the stuff.

That’s what I got from it anyway, I could be wrong 🤣
Oh I got all that from last week's episode. But I didn't follow this week's at all? Someone broke into some house and was looking through some files and someone was sleeping and then Walter White showed up as a flashback. I was confused.

I love Giancarlo but Gus is like an OTT ridiculous Disney villain in BCS and noticeably aged - do they plan on doing deep fake to make him young in a spin off?

I'm a bit bored of the episodes without Kim. The petty crime stuff is just a bit boring to me. I get they are building up to something, but it's taking too long. It just seems like a,waste of episodes.

I just want a Cinnabon. I’ve found out there’s one near one of the offices I work in. Will report back if I get one.
I said to my husband that I had Cinnabons in Canada years ago. They were divine. I dont know whether they were actually amazing or whether being in Canada eating Cinnabons was amazing!

Recast him I assume, but I wouldn’t put it past them to do some stupid CGI or something. Aaron Paul also looked weird in his role. He’s lost his baby faced look and matured a lot so it was weird to see him dressed as Jesse.

The only person who looked younger in the prequel was Huell because the actor lost lots of weight!

Ah sorry I was talking about last weeks!
