2) she used her own car seat which won’t be legal in the US 🙄

Has she got an unsafe Temu/Amazon travel one one, or just one that not just not technically approved in US?

We had some family rear ended on the I4 once when they had a toddler. Their car seat was not officially US approved but the attending Police Officer actually commented that it was a good job they brought their own from the UK as the rental ones are 99% of the time not safe as they've been dropped, thrown around, jammed in doors etc.

We've always taken our own despite it not officially being US approved (obviously it's UK/TUV approved for Europe). If the Police in FL can't be bothered to stop blatant speeding, they're not gonna know what they are looking at with a car seat!

Two things.

1) she always claimed Pop century was their absolute fave and they would pick it over all other resorts so why go down the DVC route where you can only stay at deluxe

2) she used her own car seat which won’t be legal in the US 🙄

I've used UK car seats in Florida before as I'd rather use our usual one which is safe and I know the history of etc... but kind of agree on the first point. If they're happy to stay in value resorts or off-site like their trip next year DVC definitely won't be saving them any money.

This has absolutely boiled my piss. When my kid was ‘F’s’ age I was back working in an office full time still on sleepless nights. She really is an absolutely insufferable bleep. I can’t even hate watch anymore as she needs a slap. You don’t like jet lag? Don’t take him to Florida then you absolute cockend. I’d love it if wet lettuce grew a pair and left her so she’d have to join the real world. Maybe it’s my hormones from being 6 months pregnant but what an absolute hole

The 'I'm not asking for advice'
She's insufferable.

I’ll give her advice. Stop being such an insufferable bell end, stop single handedly contributing to landfill, stop being so unbelievably selfish, stop complaining when an 11 month old has jet lag (no tit) AND STOP DOING THAT SMUG IRRITATING FACE EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO CONVINCE PEOPLE YOU’RE KEEPING IT REAL. The only contribution you’re making is to a debt collection company and people only know you because you tagged onto Brogan for a bit (who’s almost as insufferable as you are but at least she’s honest with it and not had a baby for content!)

It's not his fault he's not even a year old and got uprooted (with no say in the matter) to a different time zone, something that most adults struggle with, let alone an infant. She is tone deaf. Make your bed, lie in it (awake. LOL)
This made me cry. That poor baby. I just want to cuddle him and let him roam around a baby proofed room and be himself

Each kid is different. Ours was sleeping through the night at 3 months, at 7 months we knew they’d be fine flying to FL, and we had no issues when there or on the return.

F seems like he's been a pretty easy baby so far. It's a bit hard to have sympathy for her about her baby not sleeping through for a few days when he's got jetlag.... Both of mine were bad sleepers, eldest didn't sleep through the night til gone 18 months and was a 5-6am waker. While working FT it was tough but it's just part and parcel of having kids isn't it.
We took ours to Florida when they were that young too and knew it would take them a while to adjust back to the time difference. But we wanted to go on holiday so just rolled with it.
