She’s definitely given up hiding his age! About time! The gap isn’t the weird thing… the fact he was supposedly her teacher/a teacher at her school is a tiny bit random but not the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard as I assume they didn’t start dating whilst she was a student? So just one of those things!
Though that said, on a night out I definitely have bumped into one of my old teachers and definitely nearly took it further LOOOL not the weirdest thing! He hated me as a student as I was a dick. I’m a much nicer adult 🤣 as long as he didn’t groom her or date her as a student I can’t really see the issue! It’s more a coincidence right??

someone reassure me I don’t have issues pls x x haha

The age gap isn't so much the problem for me, more that absolute max she was 18 at school when they would have first met (and that's if she didn't "meet" him until her last year of sixth form) and he would have been 32...I dunno that just seems a bit off to me, at 18 you're still practically a child (I know I was) despite legally being an adult and always thinking you know best! Obviously if they met later and reconnected or whatever it's not as bad but it's just a bit icky to me.

Say they met at 26 and 40 the age gap wouldn't concern me in the same way but it's a personal stance I suppose

ETA not forgetting of course he was in a position of care/power to her which adds a whole new dynamic. One of my best friends is a sixth form teacher and I can't imagine her ever dating an ex-student no matter how old they got. There's a weird dynamic that just doesn't sit right with me personally.

So the story seems to be, they met at her original secondary school, they both moved to a local private one and when she left, he left…. The age of consent when you’re in a position of power is 18. Regardless of how it is…. There’s a reason why he isn’t a teacher anymore…..
And here’s the staff leavers photo from the school magazine

Just saw her posts from yesterday after the appointment. In the same breath as talking about an underfunded NHS she bangs on about all the special treatment she’s getting. I thought she’d had this birth trauma stuff before so why is it coming back up again? Also I thought her birth was fine but it was the NICU stuff afterwards that shook her up? I feel like a cow saying this but I feel like she’s capitalising on the birth trauma aspect so she can make money from it. Her comment about how they didn’t consider finances when discussing a second baby rubbed me up the wrong way, must be nice to be so privileged. I had hyperemesis with both kids and ended up being pregnant with my second during the first covid lockdown while having a broken foot. Yes it was tit and terrible but pregnancy and birth is an incredibly small part of having a second child yet it seems to be her focus.

Also she’s likely to be disappointed with her planned Caesarian. I had to have an emergency section with my first and the women who were on the list for planned sections got bounced down the list - some had to go home and come back the next day!

Quite possible she won’t feel as in control as she’d like
