Did anyone watch Below Deck Med that was available this morning? With Captain Sandy.
Any thoughts?

I can't understand in the trailer for next week why Sandy goes after Elena for waking up the chef?
Is it like an unspoken rule to never wake the chef even if guests are looking for a tit tonne of food at 1am?

Yep, it's an unwritten rule. It's been in other seasons before.
She also told him she could make the grilled cheese so should have just got on with it.
However, I don't think the deckhand was very helpful - between the two of them they should have been able to sort it out.

I know someone from the boat could have just gone to a shop before they set off. Then they definitely knew they had it rather than continually disappoint the guests. Not as if they don't have the budget.

In the past it does seem like they've gone to more effort. Like the med season Hannah went round every bar to see if they were showing a certain football match (or some other sport.) Maybe this is the cost of more TV personalities and less customer service. Even the day trips etc are so minimal now and lack of on board entertainment.

I always remember a very early season, the guests wanted brownies in the middle of the night. Someone woke Ben (chef) up and he said "ok". Got up and made them.
Tbh the chef probably would have had trouble falling back asleep after that. He might as well have got up and done it, then gone back to bed.

I agree more effort was put in but could that be to do with the fact Hannah and bugsy and kate had been in the profession much much longer and used to crazy demands. From genuinely crazy rich people. I imagine a lot of who the show are getting now are relatively rich like I'm not going on a super yacht anytime soon but still not mega rich.
