I don’t think they donated them, they said they were helping donate. I took that to mean they were going picking up the toys that have already been purchase/donated and dropping them off at the children’s hospital. He‘s giving the money raised from the video to the charity but you never see them pay for the things in that trolley. Very clever use of language as it makes it look they personally went and purchased the goods
