I agree they should definitely be saying something but if they didn’t care about her health and size when she was completely dependent on them as child then they certainly won’t care now. You can’t defend the choices Becki is making now as an adult but too many give Cath and Ian a free pass for the situation she’s in.

At the mere suggestion of a possibility of any offspring, Becky will be getting an Uber to appear on their doorstep clutching her babysitting degree certificate.

I’m really sorry your mum did that to you.

I think this conversation comes round so regularly that cath should be doing more to stop Becki overeating but there is so little you can do lol, yes they could tell her not to order takeaways to their house but she’s got a car and an addiction, it’s not gonna stop her.
Becki is 32 years old, not vulnerable, no learning difficulties and can make decisions for herself. Even seeing her dads health deteriorating from vascular dementia isn’t enough to stop her so why do people think cath telling her she’s ginormous will help

Especially when she:

1) owns a mirror so she can see that she's massive
2) posts videos of her massive self on TikTok
3) appears in videos from her “friends” looking massive
4) must regularly see some of the “in the wild” pictures where she looks gargantuan.

If all of those things are not giving you a little wake up call, stern words from your ma ain’t going to!

I also don't put any fees like delivery because I obviously don't know her address (and have no desire to know it either) so that will also add a lot more to it

Yes, I found her Insta a few months ago. She's in an awful state. Spends a lot of time on that really heavy makeup & Disney stuff. She looks like she's at deaths door unfortunately...
