You’re right and Becki is an adult so her parents can’t make decisions for her in terms of what she eats and how she lives, but there’s a difference between encouraging and enabling.
The Friday night dessert delivery video is a good example. After eating all day (lots of toast, fully tin of spaghetti hoops, butter, a Squares bar, crisps, huge dinner, and whatever else she had but didn’t show), Becki ordered hugely calorific desserts. Caff’s reaction was to rub her stomach and chant “nomnomnomnom”. It’s like accepting a bottle of vodka from an alcoholic who has also bought themselves one and yelling “chug!”
Becki controls people with food because she was allowed dictate everything as a child. That’s down to her parents allowing it then, and enabling it now. She’s never been told no, and it shows. I’ve met lots of spoiled younger people who then got a slap in the face in the real world when they left home, had to pay bills, work, and deal with problems themselves- Becki has never had to do that, again because they’ve allowed her to live at home and turn their personal lives into TikTok fodder, and their home into a studio. They act like she’s doing something worthwhile. They’re exceptionally stupid people and when she dies they’ll be the ones crying about how they’ve been let down by the government/public services, no support in place to get help etc.
I think they’ll also lie and say they did so much to try and help her over the years- but it’s all documented and we can see how much they encouraged her to gorge.
I predict a Go Fund Me for the double wardrobe coffin.
Anyway, I’ll get off my podium now. Cheps and garlic wheels for all, if that makes sensum?
