I don't understand why she posts or decides to even film content like this. I don't know if she thinks that if she posts the sad moments in her life it is going to show us that her life is miserable and not like 'other neurotypicals,' and we are going to feel bad for her. Perhaps it is going to convince us that she cannot live in the neurotypical world. It does not come off as genuine when she films herself like this. When I'm sad, I don't think of pulling out a camera and posting it online. Also, why would you want to film sad moments in your life? And in Beckie's case, put them in curated categories online? You wouldn't want to remember them.Oh man, I’m so devastated, I’m in such pain, right let’s pop the camera hhhere. Great. Wait, is it off centre? Just quickly fix that. Now. Press play. Walk back, check I’m in shot… now lean forward and look sad. Sadder! Now walk around as if I’m not super aware that I’m in filming myself. Now walk away… quickly run back and press stop! Add to story. Hmm, bit boring. Let’s put some generic mellow house music over this. Perfect. They are all going to feel so sorry for me now View attachment 3316570 q
I wonder how many takes it took for her to get the right shot as it almost seems rather rehearsed, and she would have decided to pick where she would put the camera.
I'm assuming that the sale of her flat has fallen through or an offer for a 'cottage in the middle of nowhere,' has not worked in her favour from her recent content. I do wonder this especially as she did make a snarky comment about having her mortgage almost paid off. I do expect that she is going to make a video about having the mortgage paid off soon but it will be mixed in about moaning. She'll be moaning about being able to pay off her mortgage as she has 'financial trauma,' and that she saved money as she's single and has no friends, so she didn't spend money on holidays and going on coffees etc.
