I’ve backpacked The Philippines and there’s NO chance our Molly will be able to cope there. Especially as she is someone who has only been to largely English speaking countries (or capital cities in Europe where almost everyone can speak English as a second language). Unless she ends up doing a bloody tour again

💯 Agree. I did Thailand a few years ago and even then when we weren't in the hotel we found a lot of people didn't speak too much English or even getting around the transport system was hard. She thinks she'll be fine because she's been to Singapore but it's so different there to other countries nearby she just hasn't figured it out yet.

She’ll 100% do tours. I found SE Asia pretty easy to travel compared to like South America but she needs to be more careful, you can’t have your phone out freely like she was in Australia and saying she felt so safe. Also what on Earth would she eat in the Philippines?! Thailand had some western options but the Philippines has even less
 
I'm also interested in how Tom will be. He's come across before as being interested in the history of places and interesting things, which I doubt she'll be interested in if she's there. It might work on a 2 week trip to Florida when you both go for the same things, but I have a feeling that won't match up I'd they're away travelling together.

Oh God I know! Imo Singapore is very westernised and the only thing she ate there was McDonald’s (twice) and snacks in her hotel room as she didn’t want to “get sick from the food”.

I think she knows her social media is struggling a bit and keeps doing reels because I swear she once had an online meeting thing the other month (could be last year I can't remember, I just remember her mentioning it in a vlog) where they said doing reels on insta seems to be successful into getting more followers or whatever (If that makes sense) and that's why she's doing them to try and get more followers... she's trying a bit too hard.

I have no idea if this post makes sense 😂
