omg i'm so annoyed why do people equate criticism and hate, this pandemic has seen a rise in sooo many influencers getting called out for illegal behaviour then pulling the mental health card when they avoid addressing it, I just can't be arsed

Over the course of the last year (March-March) I have seen my boyfriend for a total of 12 days. He lives 5 hours away and it’s tough. I’m very fortunate to not have any mental health issues but even I have seen a deterioration of my mental health. However, I haven’t thought about breaking rules to go and see him, no matter how tempting. Again, I’m very fortunate that that’s the only thing I have to worry about right now. I can’t imagine how much more difficult it would be with ongoing mental health issues and other concerns yet many people are in that position and aren’t breaking lockdown rules.
It’s so selfish of Molly, they live round the corner from each other, I would do anything just to go on a walk with my boyfriend or see him socially distanced but she just can’t cope with that can she? A big part of her personality is that she has a boyfriend and she just can’t understand or undertake the commitment of a long distance or even a short distance relationship.

Yes I am in a similar position (although have seen mine slightly more due to living only an hour and a half away). But we are approaching 4 months of not seeing each other, and even before that we had seen each other one weekend in 2 months. She is so lucky she can go for walks with him whenever she wants but still is breaking the rules it makes me just so angry for people like you or me who have had no choice but to slog it out. I’d love to even be able to go on a walk

Why does she act like she’s the only person going through the pandemic
Let’s recap this past year (feel free to add to this!) -
- She’s done many many zoom calls for work and quiz nights with her YouTube friends.
- She’s met up with Gabby a lot of times and also definitely met up with her other friends in the summer and didn’t social distance.
- Has most likely consistently been seeing Tom and going round each other’s houses.
- Travelled to Bath for a long weekend with Tom.
- Went to Portugal (!!) to see her friend Teagan.
- Had a massive 21st birthday celebration spanning a whole month and went for cocktails with her friends.
- Went to a work event in London (I think) with her dad.
- Spent Christmas with Tom and saw his family (I understand that was allowed but many were not as fortunate).
Overall, I think that’s been a fairly okay year in the grand scheme of things. Also, she just had to mention that she’s 21!

Also, many people would love to be at home surrounded by their family during this pandemic. She just doesn’t get it does she? I bet she’s be moaning about not being home if she was stuck elsewhere.

She has a really nice bedroom at home that she chooses to live in (she could deffo afford her own flat or house) and she has her own office!!! She’s such a spoilt brat

Idk if it'll ever get to that point. I think her parents would support her indefinitely if needs be, and if she moves in with Tom I can see her just becoming a housewife.
