I think she’s doing a great job. Two different difficult discussions about domestic abuse and a light hearted one about languages with Susie Dent and various listeners.

I'm probably in a minority but I cannot stand him. Smug.
I relented and heard the latest Stanley Tucci episode (I was going to save them up). I didn't know he had had a cancerous tumour at the base of his tongue a few years ago. He was very ill, but luckily it had not spread. A really worthwhile listen.

Seemingly Osman's book is being made into a movie or tv series, it's the other fellow on Pointless I can't be bothered with, but yes they both can come across as a bit smug.
Stanley Tucci however is much more likeable 😁
 
BBC Radio London, Claire Hermet is sitting in for Eddie Nestor. She said that she has a new niece called India Jane and thanks to UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) for everything. Think she meant UCLH. University College London Hospital.

My bad. Claira is sitting in for Bobby from the Barbican. She’s even got Nigel Barden on now doing a vegan Christmas for her.
 
A big controversy has sprung up on BBC London’s Twitter account who cut Shola out of the picture they posted yesterday. She’s complained and got a crappy response saying they wanted Robert as the centre but they would post another picture with her in later. Here’s the picture. 🤦‍♀️

66? Oh dear that is no age. I hadn't heard her in ages but always liked her.

Did anyone listen to Richard Osman on DID? After saying I'm not a fan I still will. Sometimes that programme can change your mind about someone. (Can't think of anyone off hand mind you!).

I caught Desert Island Discs earlier, it was ok, some crap music choices from Richard.
Still worth a listen
