I've noticed that Jordan has unfollowed Aled Haydn Jones on Twitter over the last few days 😬 probably a bit of resentment at not being allowed to say goodbye on air.

TBH if Jordon broke his contract I kind of think their reaction was fair enough… 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe it’s just me but I think in these situations it’s absolutely right and fair enough that Jordon is thinking of himself and his career, but also fair enough that Aled doesn’t want to give a rival any airtime on his station when fans of Jordon are often also fans of Greg James. Looking out for yourself works both ways 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree. Jordan leaving mid contract with (I assume) little warning means he's pretty much burnt his bridges with the BBC. Probably a bit unreasonable to expect a goodbye show when he's left the station in a total mess (they'll be loosing listeners both at drive time and breakfast)

It would be a massive coup for 2 if bosses enticed Graham Norton back. I'd imagine they would invent a new format for him if that were the case, Sunday Love Songs was very much Steve's.

Who do we fancy for taking over Pick of the Pops on Saturday afternoons? Perhaps its first female host? My 50p is on Jo Whiley.

Gary Davies for me on Pick of The Pops, or bring back Gambaccini

Thank goodness they seem to be getting rid of Dean and Vicky on radio 1. Although he also recently covered the breakfast show when Greg James was off with covid so maybe they aren’t going far.
Matt and Mollie will be doing lunchtime Mon-Thursday now apparently. I don’t mind them together although she is completely bland when on her own

Moving around the deadwood just feels like damage control at this point. Radio 1 has really lost direction over the last few years, feels so different from the days of Scott/ Grimmy ect
Dean and Vicky seemed to appear from nowhere and are awful, just embarrassingly bad, so I'm not surprised at that one.
Matt and Mollie? It's all just so boring at this point, like a conveyor belt of vanilla presenters...
