But this argument is exactly the same one serious child abusers make - that they felt 'connected' to the child they had befriended. It's disgusting. If you are an exceptionally wealthy and privileged and intelligent man and you feel disconnected and uncomfortable in the world then you take action and deal with the issue accordingly. Not re empower yourself and pump up your ego by predating on the weak and vulnerable. That's literally the mechanism of abuse.
I think you’ve quoted the wrong post there. That post was in response to someone’s poor mental health x

But wasn't that what happend to PS he apparently just had an affair with a legal aged young man, yet lost all his jobs(which I found crazy and suspected and still do that there is more to it) so why is this different, Huw lied to bosses and hide some things, obviously we don't know if he had sex with anyone , but if it was all legal and above board , going by those rules why should his job be saved but PS loses it all. Disclaimer I can't stand PS and I believe he groomed that lad ...but no charges, all was apparently legal and above board in the eyes of the law. Yet he lost it all.
Just because something isn’t illegal doesn’t mean it isn’t worth losing your job over. My abuser spent the better part of 15 years swanning off around the world using his fame to hurt and manipulate young women and was subsequently exposed and lost everything; why should he, as a public figure, be afforded that opportunity just because it’s not ‘illegal’?

Depends on the context of inappropriate and as far as I am aware there has not been any evidence of this.
If its sexual in nature then yes its inappropriate but if staff simply not liking views he shared in his emails or the language he used when he made his displeasure known its very subjective.
Let’s not be condescending to young staff. My children are hardworking young adults, who both attended university and got 1st’s from sheer hard work and they also had to pay for the pleasure. They are often left to do the 💩 jobs that those older don’t wish to do, they don’t complain they just get on with it. So if these young staff members are saying they have received inappropriate messages I for one am going to believe them, no one’s forcing you to.

Actually no I think people say I have poor mental health for normal life stressors and experiences. I'm grateful for some of the stigma going but it hasn't for SMI like schizophrenia and type 1 bipolar. My maternal side of the family are frequent inpatients and I worry all the time. SMI rips families there's also a worry it will activate in you because of genetics. I'm pushing 30 so its likely it won't. I'm always worrying my family members have taken their meds and aren't in vulnerable situations.

I've had very serious depression on and off since around 12 but luckily I've always had a grip on reality and never developed psychosis. I feel like the mental health promotion is just for palatable illnesses.
‘Life stressors’ can have a serious effect on people and trigger mental illness. It’s not for you to decide who is allowed to be depressed by a life situation.
The ‘it’s okay not to be okay’ and awareness days are bullshit. They don’t raise awareness of the less palatable illnesses like the ones you mentioned. Those are the ones that people need more education about. The face of mental illness tends to be the pretty, intelligent middle class girl with an eating disorder who is now at Oxford or some other top university.
