she’s putting more cabinets up the walls as well. I get she needs storage because she’s clearly the type to buy and keep everything but aesthetic comes into it for me. It’s looking cluttered . There’s too many cupboards . The one over the loo door looks awful

Are flapjacks not more of a breakfast thing? If I went to someone’s house, especially the ‘cook’ that Charlie puts herself out as I’d expect something better than oats in honey.

She just has too much crap in her kitchen. There’s too many shelves everywhere you look, there’s no negative space on the walls. No simple shelf (single shelf!).

it’s full of bits and bobs and gives me anxiety just looking at it !

she could do with hiding the microwave- maybe behind another home made curtain

She’s a grabber - it’s more, more, more of everything. Always on to the next thing to “want”. The kitchen must be so claustrophobic.

She's quite old-fashioned, mainly because of Simon. He's the one who wants the corner cabinets everywhere as she mentioned in the previous vlog.

Seeing her new kitchen makes me really miss her old one. That island infront of the aga was a really nice set up

If she removed the horrendous pine bathroom unit , the matching shelves opposite, painted it a more muted green and removed the cupboard over the loo door it would be SO much more acceptable

I get she has hoarded a ton of spices and cooking things etc but she really should try to hide them somewhere else even if it’s inconvenient. Or ideally get rid of some

no wonder she had people helping to pack her up. She should have gone through each item herself and binned whatever she could . I’m convinced there’s things not used for a couple of years in that kitchen

washing hangs from every nook.
I’ve figured out, she has attempted to copy a devol kitchen. The two cupboards that open under the sink, the copy devol cup and little knob hardware , it’s such a rip off of devol

only Devol don’t offer this awful green. Why didn’t Charlie paint it with devol paint? They offer a few green shades which are the same shades as their expensive kitchens ….

also they aren’t in frame (Charlie’s) whereas devols are .

I’ve also come to realise that Charlie has installed a sink too big for that space .

I know “her type” would want a massive sink but the room just isn’t big enough
