I think your point is very relevant re the company she keeps. Seems to have no solid supportive girl friends just other vacuous influencer/ z lister Made in Chelsea Wannabes. The men in her life previously all seemed to have been toxic and the women no better. Women uphold the patriarchy as much as men and Ashley seems to hang around a right bunch if these are the messages she receives constantly. She’s in her 30s. Most people are too busy to care about this shite once they reach a certain age. Who cares. Wear what you like. Who actually gives a tit. It’s def the circles she moves in. If I was going to take advice or feel empowered by a stranger on the internet it certainly wouldn’t be from someone’s who’s aesthetically beautiful by societies standards-thin, blonde, blue eyed, white, minimal to no stretch marks or cellulite- clearly never truly struggled with weight or looks, her biggest struggles in the past being people said her boobs were too big
she has to contort herself like a pretzel to make herself seem like she has body/ confidence struggles too.
For example she posts about her insecurities being on the red carpet last week but then posts a million photos of her posing, looking amazing, and deletes the one photo she obviously posted while drunk, which showed a bit of cellulite. The one thing that may make her slightly rel

I’m yet to approach 30 and I can hand on heart say after sacking off the deadweight in my life and doing things for me, I couldn’t give a damn about the same hang ups and thoughts she does! I suspect Ashley already realises that her only selling point USP is her looks / figure, as she’s always staring at herself lovingly in the mirror, in her phone in puddles, shop windows, other people’s sunglasses etc so as much as there is a grain of truth in this latest rant, it’s performative & I’m not buying her sincerity.

She goes on & on about leaving her job at 25 (but she had a safety net, in her parents - I don’t believe they weren’t comfortably off: she went to a good school & no one appears on Made In Chelsea who hasn’t come from money) & what a risk that was. She now constantly complains about having to pay for childcare while she “works” but faffing around in your underwear, batting your eyelashes at the camera while advertising any brand that will have you isn’t work! Those brands are buying her face & figure and nothing else. Not one original thought troubles Ashley’s vapid & vacuous brain!
