All the firework nights round here were ticketed and had to be booked in advance- that’s the bigger park displays and all the school ones and sports club events. (I’m sure she thinks she’s above rocking up at the local rugby club though) That farm she has membership for, they’d have probably done a low noise display or light show. She just didn’t get organised. It’s not dropped below 8 degrees in the early evenings and kids have been bundled up warm to go and watch fireworks for donkeys years, it’s part of the experience. Or keep Ada at home and one of them take Alf! They just didn’t bother to check or organise anything.

I can understand not wanting to take the kids to a fireworks display (it's not my idea of fun, and we don't all have to take part in everything that comes along) but why even mention it? They probably weren't ever really seriously considering going to one if they hadn't already researched local options by Sunday morning and the kids getting cold is a flimsy reason to use for not going given bonfire night is always in November/it definitely wasn't as cold as it could be/the kids definitely have suitable clothes that they would have been toasty warm in.

Ashley and Tommy; the uncoupled couple who never implemented routine or naps so they weren’t house bound and could go out and do things.

Also Ashley and Tommy; Didn’t want to take their toddler out for Halloween, made him knock on his own front door instead.

Don’t want to take the littlessshhhh to a firework display for fear of the cold when their own toddler went cold the whole of last winter in his own bed.

I reckon she thought she could just rock up to the Battersea Park fireworks show (they had a Bluey and Bingo show and kids disco) but didn't get in as probably sold out ages ago.

Otherwise not really sure why she filmed the power station in the background informing people they were going home.

What, they had a disco and it wasn’t the Queen of iPads Ashley James as DJ?!

I can’t tell if the buggy footage is in London but It wouldn't surprise me if NNB had the kids so Ash and TNB could go house hunting in Battersea and it was less to do with not getting good and more because they couldn’t make it work time wise.

I've just seen Em Clarkson's post about being a mum - articulated lovely without complaining about the Government, NHS, men. No bitterness and loads of comments with some from actual friends.

And to top it off, she used Ash's birth song 🤣 I had a look and can't see Ash has liked it or commented. She must be fuming.
Oh she’s there now claiming ownership of that song 😂

Guys, is she lying about TNB only being allowed in to Alf’s birth at a certain point? I’m sure I saw someone post a screenshot of a caption the other day where she’d say Tommy was with her all the way?

Just catching up on the thread, so not sure if someone has said this but, a lot of trusts (including the one where I delivered during the pandemic) weren’t allowing partners in unless you were in established labour/4cms dilated. No matter how you were getting on/if you were struggling. Which is barbaric tbh.

yeah this is absolutely true for most trusts, I imagine it probably was for her hospital too. In the height of of it all, my trust didn’t allow any visitors on the postnatal ward either. Not even partners. It was horrific and I really do feel for anyone who experienced any type of maternity/hospital restriction.

however…. (taken from an article)

Yes exactly this, her claiming he wasn’t allowed until she was 4cm is another lie from her!!
