Did anyone else clock on to the story of her saying she’s now bought Alf a pair of Vans as his feet have gone up a size.
I thought exactly the same. Those crocs are not helping his mobility one bit either. Glad to see him in a pair of shoes. She might now buy him some decent footwear as he will not grow out of it as quickly. We live in hope.

I can’t wait to see this tit show of a road trip. She probably hasn’t even thought yes, you plan the journey there but you’ve also got to drive all the way home again 😂😂😂 Feel whole-heartedly sorry for the babies being in a car for that long stuck on an iPad, and assuming Tommy will be driving the whole way as she struggles to drive in her own country… lucky guy.

Not sure why you wouldn’t take the ferry from Harwich, she’s only an hours drive from there. Then drive across Holland. The ferry would be way more fun for Alf. Can’t imagine actively planning on having my toddler in a car for the ludicrous length of time that she’s proposing. I guess for her it’s easier to strap him in and tune him out.

She’ll read here and you’ll get a bingo for this 😂

They might do this route to come home after both kids are thoroughly bored of being in the car

Kate Lawler did the same, instead of Zebrugge they went Calais and drive to Belgium.
Spontaneous world traveller Ash can’t use trip advisor or a route planner.

Engagement grab aside, I do get travelling with kids is harder, you might discover a service station with a great soft play, but it’s part of the adventure, the whole point of doing it, to explore. She wants to be seen as a traveller still but needs it to be meticulously planned for her.

of course she wants to see Bruges - the least child friendly city in the world. I mean there are chocolate and fries museums but it's really a city for romantic couple breaks. note she totally ignored all the suggestions to go to the beach towns in Belgium. There is absolutely nothing of interest for children under 3 there - everything is always about her and what she wants to do.

this is what we used to do - Harwich to Rotterdam on an overnight ferry, cuts the driving on the other side to 90 mins. (we were off to German/Dutch border but Maastricht is same distance
