I mean this sounds like bullshit. She has said she has never once been able to contact her GP and she’s already on antibiotics for a ‘sore throat’ even though she got back like yesterday. Sounds like an excuse to not parent now she’s home … after several days away not parenting because NNB was doing it all.

Agree, it's absolute crap, no way has she waited an age in a phone queue, got an appointment, fetched a prescription, all for a sore throat. She really is the most ridiculous person, a complete fantasist, which is mildly amusing to watch unfold but to have a child in the mix and another on the way it's quite worrying.

also Dr's are vary wary about prescribing medications including antibiotics during pregnancy as somecan have an effect on the baby later on after they born - i had a horrific urine infection when i was 14 weeks pregnant and the doctor only let me have antibiotics as it was so bad . He said they had to check what ones were ok as for example some can discolour the teeth your baby gets.s

If it’s strep throat then she will need antibiotics: if untreated it poses a threat to both mother & baby.

Strep is a potential cause of tonsillitis, amongst other pathogens.

I doubt she even knows what strep is. In that same post she didn’t even realise you have a weakened immune system when pregnant (another reason to stay away from Alf so he doesn’t hurt the sprog) Alfie would need meds too
