Aoife Grace Moore

I had to laugh at this bone-headed question Muirrean asks:

“something happened to you when you were YUNG GURR in your life”

That "something" is Bloody Sunday in 1972. ROTFL. The clip VM put up on their YT begins after this question.

But... she's 32.. Bloody Sunday was 51 years ago.

I don't think I'd ever say something that happened almost two decades before I was born was something that happened to me.

I know numerous people who lost relatives during "the troubles" and it is something that deeply impacts on a family so despite them not being born it had a massive impact on their lives. Aoife's family fought for justice for her uncle so therefore it was very much something she lived through.
Fair play to her on the new job

My own family was deeply impacted by the Troubles - and I'm from Derry and acutely aware of what happened on Bloody Sunday and how it has impacted the families and the entire city. I have friends who had families members killed on Bloody Sunday and I am acutely aware of the struggle for justice - maybe I'm a pedant, but I would've been quite clear in my answer. Rather than 'something that happened to me when I was younger', I'd have said my life was coloured by the fight for justice for my uncle...

Perhaps I'm being too picky - but as someone old enough to remember living through the Troubles at their height, it doesn't rest easy with me.

Fair play to her on getting the job. Always delighted to see a Derry one do well, though.

Apologies for derailing. Thread needed for Sr Zara King. See she's engaged after a wet weekend. Who's her new fella? Looks like some ff/fg political type who dresses like politician 24.7 anyway. Anyone have the goss?

Yeah where did he come from?

Biological clock coming into play.

She seems nice enough though once you look past the caked on makeup and 100mph speaking.

Cian Conroy is her fella!!!! Pair of saps they are. Haha, he looks different than that pic, he's overweight with a big beard to cover his very weak chin!!!

Yup, Cian Conroy from Galway. He's a pure dose. Here's a pic of when he didn't have a beard and the extra weight!!
