Anna Bey #39 Clothing line fails, dumping spicy elegance to become a spicy farmer with no husband to fea

the tickets was 180€ - not so expensive for Geneva.

I find the price expensive for this meeting, there are many ladies in the pic and little space. About the goodies bag, I wonder if it is worthy €180 for someone who organised this bag. From my past experience a half went to the trash bin immediately.

Banna was a guest on a podcast recently. It's long but luckily there's chapters so you can skip around. Around the 36min mark, she talks about how her clothing line was a financial mistake. She admits to a lot things Tattlers said was happening at that time, especially her ordering too much product and still having inventory she can't shift.

I haven't listened to much, just skipped around a bit based on the chapters. Dunno who the host is and didn't look at her other content.

Podcast:

If she really was be friends with Lauren / LA way she could have asked for her advice - Lauren’s clothing line seems to be doing well.

I guess Anna just thought it’s a quick money grab but surprise - it’s not.

Seems like she got rid of her office space too so I guess money is tight now.

Anna tried to throw shade on Lauren's clothing line by wearing wrinkled linen dress from Lauren's collection. Only a back-stabbing-snake would do that to a friend or a peasant who does not know that linen wrinkles a lot, especially new linen. It's not the first 'friend' Wannabey was leeching off until getting kicked. Her 'hubby's' bank probably did not appreciate their office space used for private matters and that's why we no longer see it.
Remember - once a money grabbing grifter is always a money grabbing grifter. Lauren did right thing to cut Anna off. Yes, Anna, Lauren knows what you did and she's too busy for you now.

Its not just the price, it's that her designs are not appealing. They're tailored to her own granny style, not what her audience (mainly young women) would spend 300€+ on. It's giving "I found this dress in my grandma's closet".
First thing when starting a business is knowing your audience - her audience are women, mostly with limited resources, who want to "level up" and can't spend €300+ on a single clothing item. The ones who can afford it would simply not buy from Anna Bey. Her name and brand are unknown, she should've started with something smaller and more affordable to test the waters and try to establish herself.
That's what happens when you spend your life chasing sugar daddies and not educating yourself enough.

Absolutely and it also shows. No affluence at all. She will have to find a good business idea quick, another boring course will not help her. She thought scamming people would make her retire at 35 and live the "affluent" life but it backfired really bad.

No way in hell those are her books, where is she filming now - who knows, but the change of setting is intriguing.

She's trying to save whatever is left from her following but is still a scammer. Anna, people did not misunderstood you.

You were charging thousands for a "course" on how to "level-up", with no certification, no experience, it was a classic Dan Lok gurú strategy. Youtube took over because controversial content promising people to get rich or meet the elite etc. does well.

Only reason this content does not work anymore is that is 2024 and there are 39 (!) Tattle threads. Give me a break.

I am one of the original stupid people that approx 5 years ago (no tattle at that time) paid to her for her 300€ish course which was too boring to finish anyway.

FYI, I have recently received an email that she is switching from a generic Kajabi (where it was located) to app.levelupclass.com … I have not tried it yet, but wow, it seems that apart from damage control - podcast and video you shared, she is up to something again.

ETA: From what I’ve fast forwarded and 2x speeded on both, her new narrative now is creativity vs. “Youtube” algorithm, scaling down (“I was sooo busy and burnt out”) etc. Well, at least we have something to discuss here, maybe 🥱🙄🥴

Wow, that event is quite the rebrand. Followers of hers should feel duped. She was supposed to teach them how to enter elite circles and get invited to exclusive events attended by the monied and well-connected. I'm not throwing shade at this event, but it looks like a typical "Girl Boss" event that is full of women striving to be successful. Nothing wrong with that but it feels way too "accessible" for Anna's brand. Why isn't this expert on the elite teaching at a more exclusive event?

I agree that it's hard to imagine those books are all hers, but take a look at the one visible next to the couch--it is quite believable:

The title is Horse Health and Nutrition for Dummies, and this reminds me, have there been any updates on the poor horse? It must be in dire straits, if Anna-the-horse-expert keeps that particular book so close to hand.

Anyway, we have seen these bookshelves and that filming location before, at least by 2021. Here are some photos copied from Thread 17, p.11, although they probably appeared in other places. (Those odd dots on the photos were there in the original thread.)
