I completely agree, she’ll probably get some mean comments saying that she shouldn’t have promoted it but she didn’t knowingly put those tips out there with the intention to give people an eating disorder, she was in the midst of it all herself. But now that she DOES know, she should, in my opinion, say why what she was doing was wrong and what the right way of doing it is. No way can she not say anything and keep up methods of disordered eating to 1 million people as if it’s normalRight before she left to take her break she mentioned that the pressure of people telling her to eat more and stop promoting such restrictive eating was causing her to binge on junk food. If you noticed on her TikTok a lot of the videos alternated between super healthy days and days where she'd eat massive portions, which is common in the binge/restrict cycle.
Personally I think Gymshark made a mistake signing someone who was so new to the fitness social media space. Anna even said she never did much exercise and didn't lift weights, she just walked a lot and lost a ton of weight quickly. It's confusing why Gymshark signed her, but I guess it's probably because she got popular very fast and she had the fitness "look."
Unfortunately now if Anna isn't promoting weight loss, she will need to come back and address why her entire platform on social media was built around losing weight and eating the lowest calorie meals.
I feel like she kind of cheated her audience by going away for so long and not addressing why. If it's an ED she needs to say that so nobody else follows her advice or her recipes. She should say plainly what happened and what direction she's going with fitness/health.

An interesting look at her last four months on Instagram...
Exactly! I don't blame her for making her videos to begin with, but once she realized they were harmful to herself and her mindset she should have explained what went wrong and how her mindset changed.I completely agree, she’ll probably get some mean comments saying that she shouldn’t have promoted it but she didn’t knowingly put those tips out there with the intention to give people an eating disorder, she was in the midst of it all herself. she owes it to her followers to explain everything! fair enough if you don’t want to promote weight loss, do fitness content or even show yourself anymore but at least give some sort of explanation. so so many (usually very young) girls took advice from her, probably when she had a ‘disordered’ outlook and it would be unfair not to put out some kind of information letting people know that this was perhaps wrong at the timeRight before she left to take her break she mentioned that the pressure of people telling her to eat more and stop promoting such restrictive eating was causing her to binge on junk food. I couldn’t agree with this more. It’s like she’s come back and is ignoring the elephant in the room! She seems to be hoping it will go away without mention! Also, Anna didn't just go through a restrictive cycle. She promoted all the recipes she was eating that were like 100-300 calories each. I know she didn't promote actually starving, but if I was a kid and I saw her low-calorie recipes I would have tried to make them for myself, and it would have been so bad that 3 of her "meals" would add up to 900 calories a day, maximum.to be honest i don’t understand how she thinks she can just ignore it and everyone will forget when her whole following is because of what she was posting before? i do feel bad for her but i think it would have been better to address it sooner rather than later
it does also irritate me that i feel like this is a pattern with SO many fitness influencers where they go through this phase of weight loss / being restrictive and posting about it and therefore influencing people and then they eventually say that they were really unhealthy, but they’ve already been posting about it and likely influencing others to do the same as them :/ i just feel like it’s a toxic cycle that keeps happening

Plus I feel she needs to address the fact that she wouldn't talk about whether she lost her period or not. It's not taboo to ask that, and I saw multiple people comment on her page that when they looked like her they didn't have their period. That's a fair question for any girl/woman to ask since it's essential to our health! If you don't have your period while working out you shouldn't promote your lifestyle as something that the average person should do. Elite athletes/long distance runners/bodybuilders lose their period sometimes but there's a reason they don't promote people to just jump into doing their routine.
omg i remember seeing multiple girls asking anna if she still had her period and she commented back being so rude and defensive every time, like these girls clearly trust and admire you and just want to ask you a pretty general question? she was always refusing to answer anyone who asked if she had lost it. why does talking about your period hit such a nerve?! this was when she had about 50k followers as wellAlso, Anna didn't just go through a restrictive cycle. it's so frustrating to see because girls on her tiktok are still commenting about how they're still using her recipes/following her old advice!!Also, Anna didn't just go through a restrictive cycle. I was thinking that too!Her dinners on her ig are literally still just vegetables and water
220 thousand followers for posting veg swimming in water and adsHer IG stories are all ads. Did you guys notice that she got sponsored by that manuka honey brand, and now she's always tagging them when she uses it? Also she's promoting several other brands like Misfits and their new launch. So she took 6 weeks off and came back to make that coin...okay girl!
