I was vegan for 5 years before I had to stop because I wasn't properly absorbing nutrients due to a GI disorder. But the weird thing is that I find it so much easier to maintain a leaner physique now that I eat meat because of the satiety/protein. So I agree that it's a misconception that being vegan = skinny
Omg me too! For five years! I got really ill and was being sick every day towards the end because I was so deficient even when I was taking supplements so It’s definitely not for everyone and seeing as she has literally two meals that she feels safe eating (oats and lentil+veg soup) she’s probably going to start feeling tit soon

also has anyone tried the misfits bars?I bought the gingerbread ones at xmas cause Anna and other fitness influencers were hyping them and they’re so dry and chalky!
 
bit confused if she is going vegan because she failed so badly at the ‘going vegan for a day’ video and has said multiple times she could never be a vegan due feeling restricted and not be able to or wanting to give up animal products
to be fair most vegans say that they could never be vegan before they go vegan hahaha i always used to say that

omg i’ve been vegan for nearly 5 years and i’ve been mostly fine so far apart from getting low iron a few times but i’m hoping this doesn’t happen to me

i actually like them😬 some flavours are much better than others though i bought the new flavour she was hyping up and it was disappointing

Not to mention most of her recipes are based on egg whites/meat/yogurt because she's been limiting most forms of carbs and even restricting certain fruits.

I hope she is not going vegan because her recipes are a super bad example of how you should eat as a vegan. When I had to stop being vegan is was because my stomach was so messed up that I couldn't eat a variety of food. The minute you stop eating a variety of foods as a vegan, you start to limit the nutrients you're getting from food, and that is a recipe for disaster. I would hate for her young audience to think having 1 bowl of oatmeal and 1 bowl of veggie soup each day is a "healthy vegan diet."
