Recommend upping the speed. The summary is that she’s worked on an app to help people with EDs/ body image issues. She suffered with binge eating disorder herself. Started with disordered eating from a young age but by the sounds of it there’s a massive family link with it. Like her family were controlling her intake, taking her to weight watchers, treated differently to the others because she was the bigger one. The restriction/ dynamic led to binge eating, anorexia, bulimia and then back to binge eating/ binge restrict cycles up until 55 I think. I really feel for her but I do wonder how it is/ whether she notices the similar patterns with Alice.

She talks about sm a bit +costmetic enhancements- which I found as a bit of a disconnect cos Alice is constantly filtered and treatment obsessed.

I feel for her if they have split up. That is not a nice experience to go through and even worse when your life is all over social media.

I don’t think DP will be leaving just yet. She was posting photos last week (even if they were awkward AF) and she seems far too happy in her posts.

If and when they do break up she’ll be the first person ever to have experienced heartache.

I’m all for couples doing their own thing, my husband and I absolutely don’t live in each other’s pockets but if he were away from home as much as DP I’d start to feel twitchy! It's actually mad that she thinks having a 'no make-up morning' is something to even mention. When I apply a coat of mascara it's time to crack out the bunting

We joke that it must be exhausting being her, with all the parties and brunches and pretend work she does - but really, I would find it exhausting being as fake as she is. Constantly having to present myself in a way that wasn't authentic would knacker me out. Good job I'm pretty happy with myself and don't always have to pretend I'm something I'm not. That's real self love Alice!

Wasn’t she complaining a short while back about how dry her hair is? Using that stupid styling tool on it isn’t going to help those crispy ends. I wish that thing would break- she just looks stupid. IMHO

If you’re going to put yourself out there as a “cook” (whatever), at least learn to hold a knife and how to chop a chive Almond Head.

I think it’s odd she’s taken Lewis as a plus one…it’s not a wedding it’s an engagement party (although it looks like wedding, bit OTT but that’s for another thread ). Do Tally and Jack even know Lewis? Why couldn’t Alice have gone alone if DP is away again? It seems like she cannot be alone or have no plans if DP is away.
