I agree, she should be paying all bills she has incurred. But I would never suggest anyone should be suffering in this heatwave. It’s 97 now, at 6 PM, was 106 at noon. Anyone mentioning the A/C cost really needs to hang out here for awhile.

And it has been like this for days, and will be this hot until Tuesday. It’s crazy. And the predicted high for next weekend? 74. 😂

It was clear she was desperate to "accidentally" get Ella in the video by filming the car’s satnav - and was poibtee by her daughter that she can see the other screen with the route at the back. She kept panning the camera to be able to include at least a tiny bit of Ella

The landlord still legally has to provide anything listed in the lease agreement which I'm sure includes AC and this would be regardless of rent due. Tenants have rights and California is known for protecting tenants.

I would give this woman a break and say the AC unit needed to be serviced, BUT because she is a lazy woman who doesn't seem to know how to adult in everyday life, she probably doesn't ever change her filters in a timely fashion. In fact, she probably hasn't had the air filter changed at all since she's been there. I did that once and it caused a lot of water leaking and a clogged AC unit requiring an AC tech because of it, but I was 22 and dumb, not 55.

Where I live the air-conditioning is run 85 percent of the year. It's a must. Maybe 90 percent. And when it goes out during the hottest, most humid months, it is unbearable.

She has to go or I think it’s a default judgement in Ioan’s favour….and it’s her request that they’re having the hearing for. I think it would be fine if she wasn’t a witness, her lawyer could argue.
And even if she doesn’t show, I don’t think that stops Ioan presenting his evidence. And she’d probably be sanctioned. But I’m glued because who knows with Alice? lol

Yes. She could've invited a few friends over. Hopefully she's doing something with her friends on the weekend, but sadly I doubt she has any.
 
Maybe Alice could claim legionella from the dirty malfunctioning AC cooler.
For funsies I re-read the statements from the incident with Ella and Elsie and Ioan and Bianca’s. It really was genius of Ioan and B to have the Dr present at the time to refute the entire story told by Ella. Very sad reading how Ioan couldn’t greet the children at the court house for fear of tampering with a witness, then Alice takes a swipe that he didn’t even say hello. I hope now Ella, at 15, is growing and learning from that hideous incident and realises no matter what your Mum tells you, your dad loves you.
 
Given the Es have unfettered internet access and they’re now (hopefully) both at school and seeing more of life - I have full faith they’ll figure it out. The receipts are all here - literally.

It’s one thing to be saying “your dad’s a wee prick”, but it’s right there in b&w bank statements and court declarations just how much money Ioan has been handing over and those girls can do the sums.

The food stamp fatty is a few years older than me, but I will say - in the 70s/early 80s it really was quite unusual for a MC mum to be working out of the home. Given her parents’ jobs, they were not fucking poor. At all. Fucking grief fairy. They were properly in the foreign holiday/pony club class.

Found myself on rightmove last week wondering what the walrus could’ve bought for half a million 90 minutes outside of Bristol. She could’ve had a Tudor type picture postcard “ influenza style” country pad and curated the “perfect life” for her followers - plus having Ioan’s family near by for the girls + work commitments.

Instead she’s wasted the whole fucking lot and is in a rental she can’t afford. Stupid trout.

Just wondering if she's printing the Tattle screenshots for Court so she can remain as 'irrelevant' as ever. Also struck me that the unpaid leccy is a gimmick to show how 'poor' she is so that might be presented too.
