Going back to the alleged medical episode, I went to A&E about a year ago because I couldn't decide if I was having a panic attack or a heart attack. It turned out to be a panic attack, but my BP was 249/200...I have never been attended to by the good people at the NHS quite so quickly in all my life. They gave me a bed immediately and kept me all day while they conducted tests and made sure I hadn't had a stroke or suffered organ damage, and my husband could only come and get me to drive me home (yes, I stupidly drove myself to the hospital after symptoms started on my way to work, I figured it'd be quicker than calling an ambulance) once the meds had kicked in and my BP had dropped a bit.

Surely she would have been admitted to hospital? Would she have declined on financial grounds? She's mentioned not going to hospital for that reason before.

I too am now on 3 hypertensive meds, have dropped 35lbs so far, and drink much less than I used to-and I'm over a decade younger than Alice.

Get well soon Mittens! I had pleurisy years ago so I know what a witch it can be. ☹️ Obviously not as much as a witch as Mad Al but what is? 😆

She wasn't as it was all made up. Don't believe she's on 3 meds for BP either. I would love to see what Manger says about the incident - not that she's a medical professional. Notice Alice mentions Manger, a therapist, but not what the paramedics said.

ETA they said her BP was 260/200 but no proof so don't believe it.

I think Alice is referring to Bianca and the statement she made on her IG about removing themselves from the situation and getting on with living their lives.
 
hey, man, I only have 43k in my bank account (on that note: I should really invest some of it again lol***), and I have bills to pay, can you guys give me some money? I'm basically broke and no one is paying for me, they are all bastards!

***btw this is one aspect that shocked me about both financial declarations: the lack of investments. Ioan appears to have some retirement accounts, but beyond that nothing. I undestand that Ioan had investments before his marriage that either went nowhere or that he dissolved to have the money to afford their live, but nowadays just living from your earnings isnt really sustainable, especially when you are unemployable (Alice) or struggle to find work (Ioan). And it's not like neither of them has spare money: if you can afford a SOHO house subscription or buy a new car you can afford this too.

I actually can believe that something happened. After interrupting all sessions she was probably desperate that she couldn't interrupt this one, so she got stressed (you can get stressed even if you are stressing out about not being able to be a evil bleep, that's not mutually exclusive) and she definitely is in an age and health condition where it can easily happen.

This however is just aimed to distract from the facts: She didnt got (if it happened) sick out of nowhere, but because she was nervous about the therapy she wanted to prevent, like all the other times. You need to be a massive idiot to not connect the dots here.

She will tell the kids this too. What a bleep!

AFE: Glaringly omitted from Ioan’s declaration is any responsibility at all for his own behavior that contributed to the high level of acrimony in this divorce.

Yep she has admitted spending her childhood savings (emphasis on CHILDHOOD) because why wasn't they disclosed in the prenup??? I do hope Ioans team are looking into this, as if she lied in the prenup, then I would have thought it void? and she's due duck all!

I hope Ioan spends the rest of any legal fees he is willing/able to in taking her to the cleaners.

Bonus: Those leggings and shirt may finally get a much-needed wash.
 
I feel like I'm going mad.

Having just waded through all of that, the financial part of the divorce should have been so, so straightforward. I know other people have said it before me, but I'm absolutely staggered by how badly she's fucked herself over in all of this. I just can't wrap my head around the level of self-destruction that's required to hand your entire divorce settlement over to a gaggle of lawyers. And for a lawyer to actually put it in writing that continued litigation will end up bankrupting both of them is just...whew.

I can't see any judge in their right mind taking kindly to all of this. Ultimately, if this continues, the people who stand to suffer the most are the children; it's abundantly clear that IG is running out of funds. It's also abundantly clear that AE is close to unemployable at this point. They really *are* going to have to move eventually - unless IG suddenly picks up an absolute blockbuster, all three of them will be managing on $50-60,000 a year (plus whatever child support they get). That's already gone on the rent, as far as I can make out. The child support payments would need to be pretty hefty for the three of them to have a decent standard of living after that - and based on his current financials, I don't see hefty being an option.

Gun, meet foot I guess.

I've had Pleurisy before, had a lovely stay in hospital due to it, and the fact I developed pneumonia at the same time, and two blood clots 😫
It's horrible isn't it, you feel all the pain shoot up all the nerves in your back, everytime you breath 😞. I wish you a speedy recovery from it 🩷🩷

Bianca doesn't speak to his kids so I don't think so. AFE implies the kids were told directly and it's not up to Alice to interpret Bianca's Instagram as cryptic messages to the kids. It could be a therapist that she's alluding to but IG would only have given up on the kids because he had to and he would never have phrased it like that either.
 
It’s entirely possible for a middle aged person to have undiagnosed hypertension which isn’t managed. It is a symptomless condition. This occurs in people who don’t have regular contact with HCPs and therefore haven’t had a BP reading down for over 2 years. This is why HCPs take every opportunity to measure BP. Its why its good to have a home monitor.

I’m a completely healthy 50+ women. I only take HRT medication but my BP is measured at least once per year.

Alice has claimed she has a 102 ailments. Many of which would put her in constant contact with a HCP. It is incredible that none would have taken her BP.

She is at the minimum over weight and was obese. She needs to have her BP monitored regularly
 
I have to say, 8 yrs ago I had, what the cardiologist described, a massive heart attack, he said very few people who have a heart attack of this magnitude actually survive. My BP was 220/180, recorded at the time of the actual heart attack, something just doesn't sit right, that she didn't go to hospital and wasn't kept in for observation. She even said herself that 48 hours after this episode her BP was still elevated, are you telling us that the EMS staff were like "ah, you'll be fine, go home and sleep it off, meanwhile we've got someone with an ingrowing toenail to see to, so we'll be orff"
260/200 is surely end of life kind of stuff, no?

Alice has over dramatised everything so I'm in no doubt that she's done the same thing here.
Ioan had the measure of her "panic attack" no doubt he witnessed many of them along with her threats of violence.
