I'm sort of with you @Treacletrixter but something about Bianca makes me think she wouldn't be comfortable with co-dependence and she's clearly a big fan of self-help. I think Ioan is a bit inclined this way, but if he takes from Bianca the need to work on yourself, see the beauty in the world and be positive under pressure, that's all for the good. If the leather jackets go too, no one will complain.

If I were Yo, I'd plan to take a fabulous holiday every year on Malice's birthday. Who knows what kind of histrionic and abusive antics she required from Baby Angel over the years on this most special day. I'd also GTFO of town on any known dates you expect your ex to explode.

Ioan also lived with them until Ella was 11. The ungratefulness is off the charts as to be expected.

and that's exactly why he shouldnt care one bit about whether they get cut off or not. Although I do suspect based on how the full letter sounds extremely like how Alice speaks that she wrote exactly the things the way her narc momma would have loved it (its not meant to be seen by others though you could have guessed it), but with her we know how much she is like Alice.

also "you made me the person I am today" - well in different ways than they think this is true 🤭

I think they are a collection from many years, looks like! I am being so cynical but Ella's notes and letters about how amazing and wonderful her mother is always feel forced and artificial, but maybe that's just me viewing everything through shesacunt-tinted glasses. Hopefully it's all heartfelt.

Edit to add- not because I feel like Alice deserves heartfelt notes, but because it's just sad and scary that a kid might feel they have to write this sort of thing to placate her.

On a funny note, Elsie said ‘oh by the way I think I probably spelt ‘bright’ wrong but those silent ‘gh’ words are too confusing for me so I’m sorry about that. I won’t say who the other one is from but you know who you are and you know how much I appreciate you. You don’t need a gang of obsessed internet stalkers finding out where you live and where you work and what you eat for breakfast! Does psycho granny have a job? Also love how us turds get a mention on her special day but it's YOU who doxx not us. 💋

Thank you for all your amazing texts and emails and DMs - I feel very humbled by the love. On the electricity note, I still have no official confirmation that we’re NOT being cut off, despite the robot telling me I would receive an email within 24 hours. We’ll just have to enjoy the weekend and see what Monday morning brings! Either way, today I choose to be happy and grateful. [Eh, why not just pay it or at least some of it? Less likely to be cut off that way!]
