She was beauty director for Cosmopolitan in the 90s and then moved to Glamour in the 00s. If she’s in her 40s now she must have been pretty young to get a senior position on one of the biggest women’s magazines at the time. But we all know she’s lying

I didn’t think I was so naive! I figure most if not all content creators have a smoothing/ evening out filter of some sort on but this is bananas! The fact this level of reshaping is possible in videos is crazy. I can see how they become addictive but come oooooon.
But then she goes on sheerluxe show or whatever it’s called as ‘’herself’’! She’s not fooling anyone!

If you Google Alessandra Steinherr company house, it shows her year of birth is 1975. She just turned 49 in March I think and will be 50 next year.

The daft mare only has Glamour on her LinkedIn (started in 2007) so basically has wiped out an entire decade with no mention of Cosmo. Probably just to keep up the illusion that she’s younger than she is
I mean, technically, she still is in her 40s but if I were 49 and turning 50 in seven months, I do not think I would describe myself as being “in my 40s” as much as she has in the past few months.
Maybe she’s trying to savour being in her last year of 40s whilst she can.
Besides, we should not give too much of a tit about how old we are. Ageing means, yay! We are still alive! You can look lovely at any age.
I suppose she has worked in an industry that really treasures and champions youth so she can’t help but feel fearful of revealing her true age.
It’s so sad really! She must have been doing well for herself in her 20s to get beauty director roles and that should be celebrated, not hidden!

That industry is really about who you know and money, I mean Estee Lalpnde was just given a position on the beauty council board, what does that tell you?
Alex comes from money, maybe she did have experience but also we all know how ppl in that industry get positions if you're well connected

Alex become way too comfortable using the heavily, digitally reshaped version of her face all the time now.
How?! How is she not concerned about how unpleasantly surprised people will feel when they run into her in person? Why set yourself up for that kind of awkward encounter?
Beauty filters make me look remarkably gorgeous too but I am not going to use those images on my socials and try to pass those altered images off as my real face because I would be mortified by people’s reactions when they see me in person and realise I’m not even half as attractive as my Instagram images!
Why does she set herself up like this?! People are going to be all WTF?! when they see her face to face and realise, she’s been hugely catfishing this whole time.

She filters her face to look like a young Rose Byrne. I guess the money to be made by pretending you look a certain way on the Internet massively outweighs the reality shock a comparatively few people may have at the occasional event she does.
