Donal had at least 3,000 followers at the time of the cruise. When he done Alan's first podcast he might of only had 400 but his following grew quickly when people heard the podcast and could relate to his personality.

"I hope he's treating Alan well" ???
What do you mean by that? Treating him to candlelit dinners? Donal sponsors Alan's podcast, he PAYS Alan? Without his sponsorship there wouldn't be a podcast. No podcast, no shows. He gets advertising in return. It's a business agreement.

And so what if his following grows on Instagram, he doesn't owe Alan anything for that. Because, I don't know if you realise this but the bank don't take Instagram followers as currency. You can't pay your mortgage with Instagram followers, nor can he pay his company's wages. His company has grown with the advertising, which he pays for but its his business decisions and hard work that pays the wages, not Alan.

It was a plus one for the cruise, So alan could have taken anyone, like an actual friend?
He plays football so surely he'd has a friend or 2, or im sure even a family member would have loved a free cruise!!! and not online friends like kieran or the donegal daddy fella. But he took donal to boost his own following, but that back fired on him, as donal completely outshone him on the cruise, he was great Craic and in mighty form, and I Watched his stories especially in the mornings when he was around the ship 🚢 and it was quiet he was showing more. Alan looked like he was in a strop most of the time and any of the dancing or acting silly looked like it was completely forced by alan. And now donal is reaping the rewards by the massive increase in followers....so fair play to him!

Donal did outshine Alan in both personality and actually showing content in a humorous way. I’d be miffed if I were Alan but suppose didn’t do him any harm, just made him seem even duller than usual

A weeks "work' to get ready for Galway, picking suits and then the entire week of Galway he whinged and cried about being tired. This is the goal for Alan as an influencer, no? If work was in the bed, Alan would lie on the ground. Donal uses Alan for advertising. Alan uses every popular instagramer going, Cuddy, Garron, Cowboy....

I see he's nabbed Garron for another Christmas concert.

And as soon as he posts their comments he has that person blocked, so they have no comeback!!! He could just block the person first, or ignore...but no!! Alan shares that person's comment and has a big man sarcastic reply looking all big and mighty, knowing they can't reply back. He's a sad case really
But his influencer 'career' won't last forever so he might have to get an actual job down the line

Exactly. He couldn't handle it.

His influencer career definitely won't last forever. Its dwindling already. I know I keep going on about Eric Roberts but he's really going places with brands and presenting jobs and Alan is a glorified car salesman

Mileage I'd imagine, anyone doing big mileage like him change their car regularly or the value starts to drop significantly as the mileage gets higher and higher.

I think Alan is trying to do things his way. He's probably taking the more difficult road but putting on his own gigs and producing everything himself, keeping control. Cuddy rows his own boat too, they're not doing what everyone else does.

He said when he bought it that he would only be keeping it for 6 months / a year. It was "a scratch that needed to be itched", before he got himself organised to approach banks for a mortgage. One last hurrah before getting serious about the finances kinda thing.

He's not gonna downgrade for a Ford Fiesta though is he! Whatever he changes to is gonna be another expensive car. It was a commercial one too wasn't it, no rear seats?
