He’s working for Galway races official! Basically part of the social media/marketing team and he interviews interesting people!

I’d say he’s genuinely very busy. Doing the official social media for the Galway Races is quite a big responsibility. I only see instagram but he likely has to upload to Facebook, X, etc too. He posted something about having to make appointments to interview jockeys in really short time windows between races and their other interview commitments. And how even getting in to the jockey section is difficult with security. Wearing those suits to work is tiring too when he normally wears casual clothes

I’m a city girl and Donal is pure country but he’s been growing on me. I prefer watching him to yet another Bperfect makeup video

Agree!!! The suits don't fit, the jackets so small, they don't come close to meeting in the middle, or near it.

To be fair, I don't think prices have increased because of Alan and their friendship. The building industry has suffered increase after increase. Concrete has gone up 4 times in the last 9 months. As has insulation and timber. He has to pass on those increases. He's openly talked about the increases, shown the letters and has pleaded and met with government officials to cut the VAT for first time buyers.

I'm sure it's busy, but it's not exactly taxing. Easy knowing he doesn't work hard long hours every day when a weeks work breaks him.

It must kill him, Eric Roberts from Donegal has got a Ireland AM gig and he's going the Galways Races gig because of who he knows, not on his merit. Where did he go wrong?

I think being that extrovert doesn't come naturally to Alan and it exhausts him so it's a bit uncomfortable to watch as you can see he's uptight at times. Even today, moaning about the hokie cokie. Whereas Eric seems naturally more outgoing, not forced and genuinely seems to enjoy the showman bits of it.

Ah he’s just a moany sickener. True for the mother and calving cows tiredness calls. He d want to be sent labouring for a few days. He has little to whinge about.

Well if he's so introverted he is in the wrong business isn't he?
 
Alan and Julie don't talk anymore and have unfollowed each other on insta, Julie didn't do his show at the last minute in Cork. Wonder what the big row was over between them, must of been bad. They clearly avoided each other at the races.

She's a liability, and is in no way someone to look up to. He probably had sense and cut ties with her.
 
Could there be anything more ick to look at on a bank holiday Monday night.
