After life 1+2

I haven’t watched series 2 yet but enjoyed the first one. I’ve been putting it off as I’m seeing all over Facebook how sad it is, and I’m worried that’s because the dog might die in it.

I’ve been through that with Ricky Gervais once in Derek and I don’t think I could take it at the minute!

Finished it last night its not rubbish just dont think as good as 1 and yes by the end I was crying 💔💔💔
Yet with a relationship I'm in groundhog day with and now im like well maybe I should just accept it and keep it like that

Just started watching After life 1. I've never known a TV show that has brought out so many different emotions in me. One minute I was laughing out loud then next I was crying. I love the relationship with the dog. My mum has dementia and is also in a care home. The scenes with the dad are reminding me how many times I've blushed in front of the carers.

Just finished S2, absolutely loved season one. Enjoyed season two, in particular the scenes at the tea shop and bench, really emotional and perfection. Don’t enjoy the scenes with the psychiatrist.

A line that really stuck with me was:
“I’m not well, but I remember what it’s like to feel normal so just do an impression of that”😭

I loved both seasons. The only bit I don’t like is the therapy sessions. I just don’t find them funny at all. I’m in no way a prude (I’m probably the filthiest minded of my friends, and always make innuendos!) but I just don’t like those scenes for some reason

It just didn't seem appropriate for a therapist to behave that way. He wasn't funny.. I watched The Stranger (Paul Kaye is in that) before this. Totally creeped out by him now :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Just loved the power of the dog to keep him together
