Just nosing on his LinkedIn and what?!

How on earth did he get that social media job at the age of 21 with no degree and (seemingly) no previous experience? “Supervisor” suggests he may have been managing other colleagues and it was for one of the biggest corporations in the entertainment sector, so presumably paid quite well.

How bizarre.

I notice he doesn’t mention his 2nd programme where he quit and came home early - I mentioned before how we were in Epcot not long after and overheard cast members bitching about him behind a curtain - I waited for them to come out and told them I heard every word and that I was going to make a complaint - turned to walk out the door and looked back at them all looking at each other with their mouths open…., I winked and said ‘not really’ - my other claim to fame on here is I once saw Gary C in Tesco’s in Orpington with a little crew of 4 people around him - let me tell you there was no anxiety/ no trouble walking, I could hear him coming up the travellator before I saw him - he really was acting up for his little audience

This is the gossip I live for!

Was Gary with family or with his mates all in their 20s ?

Not one of them looked over 20 - Gary was very over the top and loud hand up in the air and pulling the usual faces the others were howling at his antics - like I said I heard him before I saw them - he definitely marched round like he owned the place

This was after his 2nd time when he left early I’m sure at the time he said it just wasn’t for him but I have always thought it was more than that I wondered if he was pulled up for something because from what I remember they were saying about how he was too big for his boots

I was watching an old Magic Geekdom vid the other day. I’ve only just discovered them so wasn’t aware that they’d moved to Orlando specifically to be close to the parks. When they got there they realised they hated it (they don’t say that in so many words but its obvious) and even though it was on the doorstep they stopped going to Disney. In the end they moved away and started exploring the rest of the U.S and the U.K.
I imagine a lot of the allure for people like Adam and Vicky Detail is the distance and expense of getting to Disney. I wonder how long it would last without that. It definitely seems that DLP hasn’t got the same appeal. Too close?

Theme parks in Europe just aren't the same. It's hard to explain what it is - but I blame the French.

Right… this is like when people think pizza is American. You do realise American food is mostly European-based and a poorer version of that? Even hamburgers…

Last time I went, I couldn’t get a salad unless it was covered in dressing and sugar, just no. And same, as soon as I got home couldn’t wait to eat some veg.

And I will say again, Disney food is the most overrated food.

No offense, but as someone that actually has lived in both places... you sound as ignorant as Adam and Gary. Not only was pizza perfected in the United States (NY style, Chicago, Hartford Style, St Louis Style, etc), but ~50 million Americans are foreign born. America is literally a food melting pot, and ethnic restaurants are run by... people from that place.

I would suggest not following Gary and Adam's lead by only eating at tourist traps. Enjoy your local tikka, which I'm sure makes you feel like a delegate at the United Nations of food.

I'd love to know where you went that had salad covered 'in sugar'. Dressings are made from oil/vinegar/spices - did you try to order a salad at McDonalds...? or let me guess, you went somewhere classy.... like... Cheesecake Factory...
Adjusting pizza recipes to fit Americans taste is not perfecting them 🤣

I’ve lived in both too, Manhattan, NY and grew up in central London to Italian born parents and honestly, your comment is really offensive. Please go to Florence or Naples and have real pizza and then compare it to Pizza Hut meat lovers. Even what you call Chicago Deepdish or whatever is a joke to us and a reason it’s never left the US unlike the original. It’s not really worth me arguing further with such ridiculous comments.
PS I don’t even know what cheesecake factory is but if you’re trying to make a point with that, it’s backfiring.

It's almost as if... someone can be from Place A... and then move to... Place B....

It's ok though, most people die within 10 miles of the village they were born. You're in good company.

I think we're all in agreement that Adam and Gary have incredibly limited palettes and really need to get out of their Disney/food comfort zones but there's really no need to be this rude and condescending.
